It’s not that. It froze on the laptop. It eventually woke up when they were showing the last replay with Arma sticking the ball in the net. -

I’m not a betting man but if I were I’d be sticking a few quid on 1-1. -

Very wasteful. Let’s hope it doesn’t come back to bite us. -

Doing well so far today Brereton. If he had a few goals in his locker it would make such a difference. -

Never a red. Brereton wouldn’t have scored! Knew it so won the pen instead. ? -
Agreed. He can do whatever he likes, sign whomever he likes, pick whomever he likes, with complete impunity. And yet how often do we hear that managers live and die by results. I do wonder what the tipping point will be. For Mowbray, for Venkys, and for the club. What number does our debt need to get to?

WDL is where we will continue to be. We have runs of bad form and spells of short winning runs which mean we step up and step down but it then averages out. I’m hoping we can stay in and around 7-10th to give us the sense of looking up rather than down but we cannot keep persevering with mediocrity (aka stability) and watch managers like Chris Hughton pass us by. We keep looking for players who can take us to that next level. Sooner or later we have to admit we instead need a manager who can.

Just like always. The rules are always changed to accommodate the big clubs.

So you don’t have any real confidence then. I’ll meet you half way and you can have promotion and I’ll take not. -

Gentleman’s bet. If we go up automatically I’ll make a £20 donation to a local charity of your choice. If we don’t you’ll do the same? -

Exactly right. Celebrating a performance after a defeat is folly. Lucy “couldn’t wait to see the possession stats”. Mowbray’s first job tomorrow morning should be phoning Watford with his credit card in his hand to pay for the clear up and replacement of all the smashed up teacups in that dressing room. -

Warren Lucy just made a similar statement. On a different day with a different run of the ball... with different players and a different format and a different manager... and if his auntie had balls... We are now in the phase of Mowbray’s rotation policy and he’ll need ten games to find his best team and then we’ll have a few more injuries and a settled team and a run of form and then we’ll have players fit again and rotated and the whole cycle will start again. Down to 14th a handful of points above Forest in 20th (who only have one win - against us). Our early season demolition against Wycombe was one of a clean sweep of six defeats for them, and Derby have five defeats. But at least Neil Yardley and Warren Lucy are both feeling positive. -

He had a spell a couple of seasons ago where he couldn’t buy a goal and Mowbray stuck by him. Was Tony ever a milkman? -

It’s true. We watch the same things happening with different players. And people still blame the players! -

There should be a better punishment for kicking the ball away instead of a pointless yellow card. Sin bin for your team’s keeper for 10 minutes. Petulance would disappear overnight. -

Apparently losing 3-1 is great news because it highlights Brereton’s goal. WTF! This game has been defined by Arma’s woeful display yet never gets the shepherd’s crook because he is Mowbray’s favourite. -
