Bristol City (H) - Saturday 20th June - 3pm KO

100%. Some folk are pulling down statues in a bid to rewrite history, others are saluting cardboard cut-outs to do the same. There is only one way that Venkys will get any credit from me. That’s when they put us back in the PL, with a squad of players the calibre we had when they arrived, and reduce our debt to 2010 levels. Until then I have nothing but contempt for them. -

The cut outs were at the Bristol game. Who tapped on your cage? -

Yet another new low in a long list. They don’t even attend games so the idea of cut outs in the directors seats is ludicrous. Sticking Jack out there as a token gesture is worse than not having him there at all. Whoever had that brain fart is completely out of touch. -

Venkys have been the worst owners Rovers have ever had. Sad to say that by the time they are done we might yet have worse. If that photo was real, and I really hope it’s a photoshop prank, then it would be another low stoop. The photo of Desai suggests it’s a fake though. -

I think he will. If there is one feature of Mowbray’s tenure it’s that he would rather rotate and keep everyone happy than stick with a form player. Even at the expense of results. -
Seems a sensible approach to me. I wonder though if they turnEd that off to fix the problem. At first I had my laptop attached to the TV (non-Internet) via HDMI. Before I changed the setting to use the TV as an extended screen I got a message that I couldn’t have more than one stream at the same time! I mean, come on. I didn’t dare try to use my phone!

Post Pandemic Fixture Schedule

Select matches to watch on a game by game basis. No tax for deciding to watch last minute. Beer while watching the match - at supermarket prices. Pie for a reasonable price that doesn’t melt the flesh on the roof of your mouth. No drive, no parking or fuel/parking charges. House parties with your mates/family - only one person needs to buy a code. But the... Revenues drop. Quality of players diminishes. No atmosphere, no excitement, no apprehension. No banter with those folks you see every week but don’t know where half of them live, no friendly nod and hello to those others that you don’t even know the names of some of them but will celebrate joyously with anyway! No camaraderie, no support, no commitment to your local club. No your club - not properly yours. No club as a birthright, no matter how convincing mum or dad are. United, City and Liverpool on tap for the future “I just like football” fan. No “club”. It doesn’t matter what canned-fandom they impose on us in Dolby digital surround sound (as ghosts-of-matches-past), football needs live fans in the ground as much as fans need live football. The drama, the spectacle are far more real when you are ringside. There’s a reason Tyler’s battle cry is “And it’s live”, it the sound nature of (faux) leather on (faux) leather, the ‘catching’ noise that only a goal net can make, the roar and applause and tribal chanting of the partisan crowd. If it’s on TV, especially with a 5 minute delay, it’s not live. This is something we need to get through and hope to come out of the other side of. -
Sounds like you are just as tech savvy as the rest of us at this point. We all had the exact same issue. The platform is very unintuitive and the system flaky. Hopefully teething problems that they now know how to combat.

We’ve no threat at the other end of the pitch without Armstrong so Bristol can go forward Witt a bit of confidence. I bet they were delighted at our starting line up. -

It took Tom to tweet the club before they acknowledged it. No delays to kick off though. Are you still connect Josh? -
