  1. 33 Ranking Great: Lesnar/Goldberg AJ/Shane Owens/Jericho Aries/Neville Raw Tag Good: Reigns/Taker Raw Women Trips/Seth OK: Cena & Nikki/Miz & Maryse Smackdown Women ARMBAR Not so good: Corbin/Ambrose Wyatt/Orton
  2. Might not be as bad as feared (still a nasty thing to have happened). http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-39018360
  3. Wiki says 11 games for Fettis. Also says he's GK coach at Man U. Poor De Gea. In terms of potential wasted, how about Kevin Davies?
  4. I think Dana White said Punk's next fight 'shouldn't be in UFC'. He might change his mind when he sees the buyrates. AJ Styles as champion is a good start!
  5. Especially seeing as Snoop (Sasha's cousin IRL) was in attendance. Could have cancelled out the Flair variable, but was another opportunity wasted. I think Bayley should stay in NXT for a while longer and feud with Asuka for the belt over this time, if she leaves, the women's division is getting pretty thin. If she joins the main roster, one can only hope Vince sees her as the female Cena (Shena?) in terms of kid appeal and merch sales. Poor Izzy wouldn't get to see her so often though
  6. Hogan awarded total of $140 million dollars in Gawker lawsuit. Imagine if he bought Rovers. He'd make himself player/manager/captain, and every game we'd go 3-0 down before he hulks up and we win 4-3.
  7. To be fair, Brown wasn't saying the other Rovers players weren't on his level. Ronaldo was perceived as disrespectful to the other players and the club.
  8. Was Derek Shaw and his fax machine involved by any chance?
  9. Found some good Sporcle quizzes: http://www.sporcle.com/games/KevinMillar3/BlackburnRovers00s http://www.sporcle.com/games/Freddie/football-league-xis-blackburn-rovers http://www.sporcle.com/games/SallyJarvis1990/every-blackburn-rovers-premier-league-goalscorer
  10. NJPW lost Styles, Nakamura and two others to WWE earlier this year, and Ibushi has just left to head up his own promotion. Not many stars now past Tanahashi and Okada, and the former is getting on a bit. Interesting times.
  11. No need. Between Abbey, Al and Drog, they've managed it themselves here. Sometimes wonder if I should post random hateful @#/? on the NFL or golf thread. But for now I'll say Audi owners are the pits!
  12. Likewise edited. Found this on another site, which really illustrates the state that TNA has got intself into - 500 fans FFS no wonder they're losing money -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The TNA live event in Cape Girardeau, Missouri started last night with a TNA agent coming out and announcing that Chris Sabin, Garett Bischoff, Jay Bradley, Wes Brisco, Gail Kim and Miss Tessmacher would not be allowed to compete by the Missouri Athletic Commission because they did not have licenses to wrestle. Around 500 fans were in attendance for the 90 minute show. The card featured just 5 matches and 3 of those 5 featured the same four wrestlers. Quick results look like this: * Bully Ray beat James Storm * Devon beat Gunner * Samoa Joe beat Bobby Roode * Gunner and James Storm beat Ray and Devon * Jeff Hardy beat Kurt Angle TNA officials tried to make up for the problems by inviting all fans backstage after the show to meet wrestlers for free. However, Jeff Hardy charged $20 for a photo and fans could not get his autograph. This led to some of the people that paid $65 for VIP tickets to be upset that fans were getting what they paid for for free. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  13. In other news, Chris Sabin wins the TNA world title at Destination X - but the company is late paying some people, and others have been released. Will we see another WCW situation?
  14. Loved me a bit of old-school ECW. In other news Bully Ray (aka Bubba Ray Dudley) won the TNA world championship at last week's PPV. Mega heel heat beckons.
