Let's not overlook why Preston do it. Its not to inflate attendance figures, but its done in the hope and expectation that it creates the supporters of the future. By the way, we had 16000+ which is a good attendance figure for us. But it was still the lowest Championship attendance on the day.

I think they bought a Premier League club on a whim for prestige reasons, were conned as to what was needed to continue at that level. got us relegated, became disillusioned and have just provided the bare minimum needed to keep the club ticking over. For reasons of pride, they prefer to keep the club rather than admit they have been out of their depth and have made a mess of it. I admit that's me surmising but I look forward to reading different explanations if there are any.

Well, all Championship clubs are not the same are they? Wasn't the case for Luton was it? Lower crowds than we have. We have rich owners, we should be able to be optimistic about the future. But we can't even have a well-maintained stadium.
