The club’s last two sets of accounts advise us that the owners were given permission by the authorities to send: £3.54 million in June ‘23 £11 million in October ‘23 £15 million in March 24. I make that a total of £29.54 million. Perhaps at the next forum (I note this is less than a fortnight away) clarification could be sought as to whether these are the sums SW was on about (along with an explanation as to the remaining £5.5 million). In any event, as you say, this is far from the fabled £20 million a season.

Yes he did. My abiding memory though is being chased back to our coach by West Ham fans. You’d have thought they’d have just wanted to celebrate beating the soon to be champions but apparently not!
