  1. What you’ve quoted isn’t quite correct… If a player is being converted through now meeting the auto pass requirements the wait is not necessarily a full twelve months. This is because the regulation says the process must take place during a transfer window and after at least one full window has passed. A player relying on having played enough for his club to be converted needs to have played both the requisite number of matches and minutes (not one or the other) The wording (in regard to the playing period) for this part of the regulation says ‘within 12 months’ which I take as meaning 12 months (as anything else makes no sense) and starts from the date the work permit was first issued. As with the auto pass part of the regulation, this conversion must take place during a transfer window.
  2. I’ve edited my previous post having found the info I was after. What you’re describing doesn’t sound to be within the ‘advisory services’ remit…
  3. I thought players could have an agent from 16 but only with parental consent. Edited, found the below (in the EFL youth development parents and carers handbook):
  4. A boring draw is better than an exciting loss.
  5. I like how you’re being accused of a lack of compassion by the same person who thinks Newcastle’s owners should only be judged on their running of the club.
  6. Who decided on the day would be disrespectful but 24 hours later is fine??
  7. They managed to take him off the club website staff list pdq
  8. My Chemical Romance - Welcome To The Black Parade
  9. The issue isn’t who is covering the job ‘til an appointment is made. The issue is not updating Companies House that Waggott has left.
  10. Test cricket isn’t what it used to be.
  11. If the club had wanted to they could have matched the wages Derby offered and the bid Oxford made. They didn’t want to.
  12. ‘Blackburn is quite far from where I live’ Bristol is quite far from everywhere - didn’t stop him spending multiple seasons there. It’s almost like ‘closer to home’ is a convenient excuse… (unless you’re Robbie Savage 😁😁).
  13. There are FIFA ones but he’s too old for those.
  14. ‘… will not get much compensation’ - surely if he moves abroad we’d get no compensation.
  15. The contract we’ve offered (if indeed we have) is taken into account when deciding the compensation amount. I guess most of us think we’ve either done as you say = lower compensation or failed to offer one at all = no compensation. It would be lovely just to have one competent person in the club’s senior management.
