  1. Giorgio Moroder And Philip Oakey - Together In Electric Dreams
  2. I understand that. Personally I’d complain to the passport office but you might not think it’s worth the bother.
  3. @Tyrone Shoelaces I’ve done some further digging. The following is from the European Commison’s ‘ Practical Handbook For Border Guards’:
  4. I thought the rule was: * Has to be issued within 10 years of your arrival in the EU. * Has to be valid for 3 months after you’re departing the EU. Your original passport meets both of those criteria. I presume I’m more likely to be wrong than the actual passport office but you never know!! edited to add: Despite what you were told in the Post Office, their website says the same as I thought: https://www.postoffice.co.uk/identity/guides/uk-passport-validity-checker From the above link: I can’t find anything elsewhere which disagrees with what I thought (makes a nice change!) but can find plenty of further websites which agree. Might be worth you making further investigations in case you can get some of the money you paid back??
  5. We had the option (1 of 4 available) to stop paying Dolan on expiry of his contract but this would have meant no compensation being due. Can we be certain our financially incompetent board wouldn’t have made this choice?? edited to add - paying his wage to the end of July (or until he joined another club if sooner) only applies if we hadn’t offered him a new contract.
  6. Elton John - I’m Still Standing
  7. He’ll need someone to get those splinters out of his arse.
  8. Ritchie Valens - Come On, Let’s Go
  9. That bit might be offset by the fact the contract offer we made to him is also taken into account.
  10. Maybe Rudy kept in touch with Vincent Tan.
  11. The investigation isn’t into money laundering as that’s a different law (PMLA) than the one they’re being investigated under (FEMA). Also, FEMA is a civil law whilst tax evasion is a criminal matter so I don’t think they’d be caught by that either.
  12. Tbh I don’t know but would make sense if you had to. Hopefully someone with more knowledge of this than me can confirm.
  13. I’ve just picked a random set of accounts (1994) to see if our memories on this are accurate. In that year the amount owed to Jack was reduced (through capitalisation) by £7.5 million.
  14. The owner’s words (within Venky London’s accounts) suggest they hope one day to get it back. The owner’s actions (ever since they darkened our door) will almost certainly ensure they won’t.
  15. If I remember correctly (and it’s sadly now so long ago) Jack periodically wrote off the loans he’d made. Fifteen years in and Venkys have never done the same.
  16. They are amongst the creditors on the club’s balance sheet.
  17. To add to my last post, this is from the club’s last accounts:
  18. Nope, that’s a different figure. I’m referring to the money owed to group undertakings. Also, in addition, see the below from Venkys London accounts:
  19. The club has plenty of debt to the owners - £134 million in the last set of accounts. Whether they’ll get even a penny of that back is an entirely different thing.
  20. The Real Thing - You To Me Are Everything
  21. Whatever you think my intention was I will deny it 😁😁
  22. Let the debate begin 😁 https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/articles/cg75p5rjdr0o
