Very true. Unless there’s a risk of injury, I don’t think I’d ‘chance’ it against Southampton (given there’s then no game for a week) I’d be more inclined to rest one or two against Huddersfield and/or Rotherham. I most certainly wouldn’t be playing any key players against Cambridge in the cup.
