  1. They’d need the Indian authorities permission to do this because of the way the rules are written. I’ve no idea whether they’d withhold this permission or not.
  2. Clubs are allowed to lose £15m over three years excluding money from owners and £39m including money from owners. This is not the same as owners being permitted to put in £39 million over this period.

  4. That figure is (or is supposed to be!) the average number of employees during the year so TM and JDT shouldn’t have been ‘double counted’ anyways.

  13. I don’t see how that makes sense either! The premise of Goodhart’s law is if a measure becomes a target you can manipulate things to ensure you meet it. In these instances you’ve met the target but you’ve not necessarily achieved the success the measure was intended to help you achieve. I hope that makes sense, I fear that it doesn’t!!
