  1. Sold the training ground but now saddled with an extra £300k plus debt per year.
  2. Season tickets weren't really a thing back then you're getting desperate pal give over digging. Cheaper ST lead to more sales undeniable facts and significantly cheaper with lead to a significant increase. Doesn't matter if it's 11k or 15k it's still a lot more than we shift at these prices and better for the football club as a whole for many reasons. We do have a weird fanbase though arguing against these things.
  3. Oh not this old bollocks again stemming from an in some cases inacurate table posted on social media. Same thing that was telling us Wigan amd Rotherham have populations of 300k plus whilst lumping Blackburn in with Darwen but just giving singular populations of other towns. Lazy stuff.
  4. I think there are more goals in this lad if we can get him running in on goal a bit more but trouble is in our system he does a lot of graft deep instead. Could very well be a Paul Dickov type if he keeps up the desire, clearly loves being here so that's a plus.
  5. Off the field run by downscaler expert Waggot and owned by generous but clueless invisible people Rovers are so behind the curve it's painful.
  6. 3rd year on the bounce there has been a share issue at the same time in June. Difference this time is it's from the company set up to own the training ground instead of the usual issue from Venkys London limited.
  7. We are unlikely to ever have anyone again serving the club like Tony Parkes so if they aren't naming anything then a statue somewhere at the very least.
  8. When you weigh everything up i think hes done a decent job so far. Ok we all want perfection and January was embarrassing although i'm not sure it was all his fault but otherwise a good start to the new set up at Ewood. All eyes though now are on the signings this summer, no desperate stuff for the sake of bodies please lets have pieces of the jigsaw.
  9. The most painful thing here is that our gates and Bowtons were very similar for years in both Prem and Championship. They lost 5k home fans overnight after they dropped out of the top league, we lost more for obvious reasons. Yet now look at the difference and all that comes on the back of getting rid of useless owners. Under going a complete reset of the whole club and attitude and recognising the only real way to re-engage the town and fanbase is make it a no brainer in terms of price. All done to the backdrop of lean times on the pitch and several years in the 3rd tier. They are a shinning example of what can be done when people have faith in the club.
  10. Every club around here is the same so why don't you open your eyes and accept the factual evidence being presented to you. You only need to do a little research of your own if what people are showing you doesn't sink in. In other words stop being a tit.
  11. Someone has already put it about that JDT allegedly won't go.
  12. At 11pm on a Saturday night 85% of British men think they can beat a bear.
  13. Indeed boxers outside of the big 3 divisions must be the fittest sportsmen on the planet and their training is insane. They don't fight very often though these days so they can basically rest up and just tick over when they want. Championship football is a hard slog for anyone never mind the day to day training.
  14. A tennis player can be on court win or lose and off it again with his feet up in half an hour. Very different levels of fitness and physical strength needed.
  15. So really we've shifted around 7k before the compli's have been added. Waggot is clearly a creative accounter with his words.
  16. When he came back at one point he looked fitter than he'd ever been and put in a few good shifts. You can alter what you put into your body but you can't change shape or grow taller it was same with Dunn. Dack ain't blessed with a natural athletes body it's just genetics and i'd say that due to the injuries he just probably couldn't train flat out all the time anymore. Regardless of advanced surgery and diet if you can't train to the max regularly due to stiffness/soreness etc it'll show. That'll be one of the reasons he was let go, too much intensity required day to day now and a gaffer who doesn't like passengers.
  17. Rather worrying he seems to be linked in the top 5 for every and any job. Word is obviously out that he's available should someone offer something.
  18. Sorry i take it back, Doogs has trumped it. What a shallow pair.
  19. That has to be the worst post in this thread.
  20. We had 10k until Waggot turned up determined to drag the prices from one of the cheapest to one of the dearest. Doing that alongside covid and now a cost of living crisis has lead us to where we are. Meanwhile we can still pull in 14/15k when the interest is there and match tickets are sensible and we only have to look across to Bolton and Preston to see the effect cheaper STs have. Those clubs also run up losses of millions and dont have the billionaire benefactors we have. It doesn't need Prem football to boost home crowds to more respectable levels it just needs some critical thinking and a pair of balls. Cheers
  21. Stephen Hendry 🤣 As if, i think he came once as a guest of Kenny who is a big pal of his.
  22. About as big a Rovers fan as Phil Jones 🤨
