  1. Doesn't sound much but when you consider about 6k have bought tickets it's a fair old effort. Waggot is the one who should be in the center circle applauding the fans.
  2. Tough game as expected although should have been another goal up at least before they snatched that one. Looked like it was going to be one of those nights until BBD took matters into his own hands again. Didn't see the point of bringing Gallagher on at all we needed Dolan to come on and be busy. Touch of the old TM thee 2nd half imo, no knowing what to do but just doing something for the sake of getting players on. Scored just after first sub though so all is well. There's a different feel to it all this season though, we'd easily have drawn or even lost a game like that in the past. I just wish the bloody crowd wouldn't get so nervous and quiet at times though. 3rd in the league, Christmas time, absolutely nothing to lose of get nervous about. People in the stands at the sides of the pitch get yourselves involved in the game, shout the team on for 90+5 not just after a goal !!!!!!
  3. Probably not in the past unless they'd pitch up with huge numbers. 15k ( including a healthy away support ) should be the benchmark anything less is a bit disappointing.
  4. I hope Park is being instrumental in good things but remember we were signing good loans mostly before he rocked up. So to lay all the credit at his door for this seasons might be a bit off the mark. What i'm seeing since he came is us being lined up with these Scots lads to potentially replace some of the good home grown players we haven't tied down. He's only doing his job of course and the proof is in the eating but i'm not 100% struck on this policy....yet.
  5. It's always been around in football that kind of thing to varying degrees i remember it being the case when Souness was here. Now if we consider what a mess it was here from the moment Kean and co took over it's easy to assume the problems were 5 times what they might be at the normal clubs.
  6. It should be quite simple and straightforwards, being an evening game have a cut off point of 12.30. Home team should be informed by then and if it gets pulled later they should be compensated. Hit people in the pocket and they'll pull their fingers out.
  7. He's the only one talking any sense on this nonsense. Will anybody listen ? Unlikely, when has football ever been run competently.
  8. It would go some way to explaining the huge upturn in form and effort suddenly this season. The players are like men possessed and even the manager and coaching staff look like they have blood pumping through their veins again. Show me the moneeee !
  9. TM loves a squaddie and likes to rotate and fit them in so i'd prefer not to see any pressure to do that. If it were me i'd be rooting around for another young fit game hungry center half. One who compliments what we have and who is chomping at the bit, one of the reasons we are so much better this season is we've moved away from these types cluttering up the squad.
  10. Avoid. We aren't in a situation we need to take gambles on these types it makes 100% far more sense to keep what we have instead.
  11. I'm thinking this might be an awkward game and i hope the Hull debacle hasn't dented the momentum. It's almost like it was done on purpose. Rovers 1 Barnsley 1
  12. Great idea if true i'm sure we've said before why don't such wealthy owners offer massive incentives to reach the promised land. Pity it's banded about though it often tends to fire up opposition as well to get stuck in.
  13. If it was a pitch inspection issue arising from doubts days before there'd be an inspection and decision before the visiting fans coaches left. At least i think that used to be the case so here with all the doubts and issues involved in Covid and the fact they'd already lost a few people, there was NO excuse to leave it late. Other than they didn't really give a toss but best thing here is when it's rearranged we rock up and hammer them.
  14. EFL - 'What's going on here then Hull ?' Hull City - We might have pushed the very boundary's to snapping point but we were following your protocol to the letter ! EFL - Aye ok, nothing to see here move along Blackburn please. Hull & EFL - 'It's all the fault of a sinister variant and the evil walking dead of the unvaxed/unboosted they are the real culprits'.
  15. Inevitable. Still at least Hull sold plenty tickets....
  16. We'd likely be playing a different way if AA was still here in order to be tailored more to his liking. Probably after loaning in another defensive mid or two. Nothing against Armstrong but on that score i'm glad hes gone.
  17. Yeah but if you're a tax dodger who went to Eaton you'd be allowed to chuck enough roll to wipe every arse on earth !
  18. He definitely lost the plot on and off the park for a couple of years. Now he's doing more logical stuff with the team his spiel makes a bit more sense again. He's always been one to waffle though but now he sounds a bit more like the TM of old, not the hybrid excuse making imposter.
  19. Come on they'd be filming, investigating and trying to lock up people chucking bog rolls and shredded newspaper these days. Maybe get away with a few nice balloons, only partially inflated of course though.
  20. I think a severe warning would suffice first time around although we don't know if they've been in bother before. Maybe a word to some of the useless stewards wouldn't go amiss either seeing as their heavy handed treatment of kids on the pitch nearly caused a riot.
  21. This is where i'm at with it as lets not forget it took that shambles at home to Fulham for him to finally wise up a bit. What he has done withe team since then is superb and the players also have to be taking the credit in equal measure.
  22. I'm delighted with the turnaround and current form but i'm wise enough to know it wasn't some grand plan. We are over achieving at the min and at some point it'll probably balance out a bit. He's probably never had a team like this though so lets see how he handles the next few months. Hes got to keep the fire under them and let them do what they do imo, top 6 finish is a real possibility. Finishing 10th/12th is more his territory so this is probably his biggest test yet at Ewood.
  23. It it does get pulled it'll probably be after ticket sales have finished tomorrow. Hull won't want to lose the tv revenue from this so next best thing is sell as many tickets as possible and give the game every chance to go ahead. Christmas day or boxing day morning would be my prediction for it to be pulled, i reckon it will be.
  24. Around the 2 thousand mark was the sensible figure mentioned early Tuesday.
  25. Let the economy run up too Christmas hols then put the brakes on in the early new year a tradition 'quiet' time for a lot of things. Take the brakes off again later and claim credit for the booming. All pre planned this and more to it than just covid.
