You’ve totally missed my point, England are dire to watch Turkey and the Netherlands tonight are not. -

Sorry to offend those who enjoy watching England bore the world to death in the way they are playing, the Turkey Netherlands game is a joyous example of what exciting football is all about. -

Compared to the dross served up earlier, Spain v Georgia is a cracking game so far. -

Every team in group E has averaged less than a goal a game, 7 goals in total scored. The worst set of games in the tournament so far. You’re better off not watching England if you want to be entertained. -

The term “world class player” is the most overused in football. In all my time watching England, I have only seen a handful of such players, namely Bobby Moore, Gordon Banks, Bobby Charlton, and Paul Gascoigne. We’ve had plenty of very good players, but hardly any that you would pick in a world 11 of the day. I don’t even think that there is a current footballer in the game, save for Mbappe, who is genuine world class. Messi and Ronaldo are not there now. For what it’s worth, Bobby Moore is the best England player I have ever seen, absolutely brilliant in every aspect of his role. -
Don’t worry, I’ll get the cost of the prize back with an extra charge for using the toilets at Ewood.
-
Not at all, I have sympathy for such folk, but just prefer to be positive about the thrill of buying a season ticket to watch Blackburn Rovers.
-
Of course I want the club to do better, but the majority of posts in this topic are whingeing so I thought I’d add something positive.
-
In contrast to all the negativity, I’ll be positive and say I’ve renewed again for the 40th year. Looking forward once again to being with friends and family at Ewood, Waggot won’t spoil my enjoyment of being a Rovers fan. I’m not one of the so-called happy clappers by the way, just someone who loves watching my favourite team despite the garbage that goes on at the club.

The Summer Transfer Window (Press Submit)
Giant replied to RoversClitheroe's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
No way are we going to try to get McGuire after the January fiasco, it was always a fairly tenuous attempt to get him then. -
What sort of football club would appoint a DofF who has never done the job at any level? Can’t believe that even the current regime at BRFC would be daft enough to make such a move……..hang on though, we aren’t a normally run football club so it might happen.

Does anyone actually believe that Nixon is correct with this speculation?

John Eustace - our head coach

Another loony owner -
John Eustace - our head coach

Eustace was brought in to do a job, keep us up. He’s fulfilled the brief. I’ll judge him properly when he’s had a full season managing the team, anything else is unfair. -
We are going down (the pessimism thread)
Giant replied to simongarnerisgod's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
History is full of irony, BRFC has a great history. We missed the playoffs on goal difference in 2023, if we go down in 2024 it will be on goal difference. Also the Norwich manager has a history of playing a weakened team, when he was at Huddersfield, to our disadvantage in 2017. I’ve no doubt he will do the same at Birmingham now that his team are definitely in the playoffs. Our only hope is Hull getting something at Plymouth. The omens aren’t good. -
Support for Celtic and Rangers isn’t based on Geography in Scotland, but about identifying with a club that represents your religious and sectarian views. It’s the same in N.Ireland. The vast majority of Catholics in Scotland support Celtic for this reason, every unionist and Catholic hater supports Rangers, but not all non Catholics do. As long as both clubs exist, this tribalism will continue, and in Britain’s divided society it is getting worse. Away fans are not now allowed to attend Old Firm games, a sad indictment on the way things are going.

Not our No. 1 pundit, Mercer! -
I’ll be at Dens Park on Wednesday to hopefully see the Dee silence the Orange hordes. Always worth taking in a game when visiting Scotland.

No offence, it’s just that I’ve never known a football fan who drinks Chardonnay while watching a game, especially when there is access to some fantastic beers in your country. By the way, I love that old boat in Copenhagen harbour which has the open air bar on it.
-
A Dane drinking Chardonnay?? Something got you before you decided to drink that.

We’re living in a world of fantasy and conspiracy theories. Reality has been beaten by bullshit. I used to play for Real Madrid, broke the home run record in baseball, scored 500 centuries in test cricket and then bought Tesla from Elon Musk for $1. 5 billion people follow me on TikTok, and Blackburn Rovers play at Ewood Park. Someone in Facebook land won’t believe in the last fact.

Has Adam ever said publicly that he didn’t want to go, not as far as I could see? How many footballers would risk losing a massive contract that could set them up for life, probably none I would suggest. A major injury could jeopardise a move for starters. I think GB is correct in his assessment of the transfer, the issue was not releasing any funds for a replacement.

v Middlesbrough (a) - 16/3/24
Giant replied to chaddyrovers's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Another win for Boro tonight puts them 5 points off the play off places. They aren't going to be a soft touch on Saturday, very difficult game for us. -
v Plymouth Argyle (h) - 09/03/2024
Giant replied to Upside Down's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
But its fans don’t. I’ll never understand why any fan would want their club to be relegated.
