I thought today overall Adam Wharton had a poor game, but when he does something right, it is sublime. -
Dilan Markanday.. potential talent or ?
rigger replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
He has to start by doing the same as any other player, by impressing in training and making the manager pick him. Whether that is our first or U21s manager, or his loan clubs manager. -

Bus in from Warton to Ashton park, a few beers in the Lanes pub (I don't know what it is like). Then a walk down to the ground. -

Gally can play at full-back, it doesn't make it right. We tried the same thing with Dack, it doesn't work. What you end up with, is two in midfield and one player who doesn't know where he is mean't to be. Just do the simple thing and play three central midfielders. -

I can't think of any games that justify your first paragraph. The only thing I have seen from Markanday is a reasonable shooting ability. Very rarely have I seen him beat a player, as he seemed too weak and is easily knocked off the ball. From his wide position he almost always cuts inside, defenders find this out quickly, and just put their bodies in the way, he invariably looses the ball. I have seen better players released by the Rovers. -

I will be beyond disappointed if we don't play three in midfield tomorrow. -

I am getting more excited about the nobbers game than the dingles game. Then again I have had a few drinks. (hic) -
And Sparks thinks that is unfair as well.

That statement, if you believe it to be true, would show your lack of football knowledge. -
5 outfield players, plus a keeper

Ok, you came up with looking after the baby, may have caused his drop-off in form. I still reckon he just isn't good enough.

You blame the baby, I reckon he just isn't good enough.

I'll tell you what makes no sense, and that is keep picking Diaz.

I would have been tempted to flood midfield to take some of the pressure, not strip out the best player. The time to find out if you are running on empty is in the changing room after the final whistle. -
Another take on Diaz seemingly being undroppable. Perhaps JDT wants him to play so that clubs make him an offer in the summer, and we get him off the wage bill.

I can't get my head round taking off Adam Wharton. -

Stop punishing yourselves, the ref gave it, it's gone. -

Our next point will come in our next game, the question is, can we get three at Dumpdale ? -
Dilan Markanday.. potential talent or ?
rigger replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
Markanday is nowhere near our first team. If he hadn't been loaned out, even though we did not get another forward, he would have been lucky to hold down a place in the U21s. Leonard, Vale, Burns, and Walker would be ahead of him at U21s level. -

Why only two in midfield ? -

Millwall and Preston, aren't hitting form, Luton are already in the play-offs, and might be eyeing up those games. -

I totally disagree, when you say the play-offs are gone. I would rather be in our position than any team below us. -
More like NFI.
