Walker actually had a good game up front for the U21s on Friday. -

Thomas is ineligible against Huddersfield. -
We played quite well until going down to ten. In the end we were out-muscled by a physically larger side. Some of our football was a delight to watch, as was our goal. We played a short, fast passing game. They played long ball cutting out midfield.

The linesman had a nightmare in this incident. The forward was a good yard offside, but the linesman was a few yards behind the play and didn't give it. Then Eastham took the player out. Mitigation for the linesman is that the area he was running in was just mud. The other side has artificial grass put down

I agree with your first four words -
No, but it is what we have got.
-
Personally, due to our lack of pace at full-back. I would play three center-halfs and two wing-backs, three central defenders, and two central strikers. With the players we have for the Huddersfield game, I would go : Kaminski Carter Hyam Wharton Britten Pickering Garrett Wharton Travis Szmodic Dolan
-
I would like to see a central midfield three of Garrett, Adam Wharton and Travis.

We play a tactic that works well if the opposition attack us. The problem is we play the same tactic when the opposition don't need to attack us, so it doesn't work. -

So why persist in developing Liverpools player rather than ours ? -

Gally was shit, he quite willingly accepts being second at anything. If a professional footballer is shattered so early in a game, there is something wrong with him and he shouldn't be on the pitch. Why didn't Thomas start, as he is not allowed to play on Monday ? -
Pears/ Kaminski.. summer plans?
rigger replied to NeilInBristol's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
We did this season. At the start of this season Pears was not thought of as a senior keeper. -

I spent my formative years in the snooker room of the Sportsman, where I knew Uddersfieldblue, late 70s. John Bailey made the odd appearance there. -
There are also a lot of players inbetween the ones you mentioned ,.But what all those you mentioned had, was ability. How they put that ability to use, is what can be worked on by the individual and their trainers.
-
But he loves the club ?
-
That doesn't make it right. There is no substitute for ability, all other aspects can be worked on.
-
It doesn't for Gally.
-
Every-so-often, he makes a great pass. He won't be at the Rovers next season.
-
Apart from that not bad

On the pitch. -
Wharton is the better player, he is also a better fit for our team and system. Team is No1.
