  1. For me it is not a case of whether it's a reduction or an increase. For me the question is, are the season tickets value for money. The answer personnally is, no. Therefore I will not buy one. It is the same scenario as last season. Season ticket prices were too high then, and they are now.
  2. The same price as Preston. £280 till 4th June.
  3. Who are these loyal fans loyal to, the Rovers or Waggott ? Waggott seems to be the main beneficiary of the season tickets at the price they are.
  4. He never said it would stop him going to games. Just that he would like a refund of his season ticket money. I would also assume that the comment was made as a light quip, rather than an actuality.
  5. I don't think the wazzing of the season ticket, was due to the thought of TK being sold, but of the thought of Pears being our first choice keeper.
  6. It is also not all about the shots stopped or goals conceded. It is more about the confidence the keeper instils in the defenders in front of him. A confident keeper and defense, defend better than a nervous one.
  7. The question still needs to be asked at the fans forum meeting.
  8. What is needed is not just to ask the questions, but to push for a real answer, and not be fobbed off. This reply is not aimed at anyone in particular, it is just pointing out what seems to have happened in the past.
  9. Waggott should be asked at the fans forum meeting, what is his response to Glens letter. Someone should take a copy of the letter to the meeting, for when it's existance is denied. If Glen is agreeable to this.
  10. Challenge for automatic promotion, get promoted through the play-offs. The extra money for the three play-off games makes up for abismal season ticket sales, Waggott meets his financial target.
  11. The pitch is sodden, get the ball into the box. Just like the first team, sideways football, no end product. The pitch is not conducive to our plan A football. And again we have no plan B. Batty may become more involved in the second half as that far side of the pitch seems dryer
  12. Next season I expect us to be challenging for automatic promotion, with 5000 season ticket holders.
  13. The strange thing is, both quotes are true.
  14. I was at that game 76/77. I was in the RAF at a camp north of London. It was a nervous walk back to New Cross underground station.
  15. I would want that as well, but given our circumstances, I think the options I laid out are the way the Rovers will go.
  16. Even if he has signed a timed contract. Not many people have signed a timed contract for their jobs. I don't know about you, but certainly no comparrison to any job I have had.
  17. The question was not about if another club came in for JDT, but if JDT has the option of just quitting the Rovers.
  18. If JDT quit, we would still have him contracted, so I assume he would not be able to go to any other club until that contract expires ?
  19. From what I have seen of him, yes
  20. Today is the only day that counts
  21. Kaminski in goal, Batty at left-back, midfield 3 chosen from Wharton, Garrett, Buckley, JRC. Then splash out on a goal-scorer or two.
