  1. If Ayala is not avaiable, at any time, I would look at the players available and select who I think is best for the job. Please feel free to add a witty reposte.
  2. I agree with you. I was answering a question. I was giving, a reason, there could be many more.
  3. At half-time the two so called experts were saying the second Welsh player was unlucky to get booked early on. In real time you can see the player come into frame, and tell the ref to fuck off. It is good to see the ref take action against the player.
  4. One of the easiest ways of getting people into the ground, is to have a winning team on the pitch. People will part with money if they are getting value for it.
  5. We will get within grasping distance of victory, then rain will stop play.
  6. I think you are completly wrong about fitness coaches. You could go out and get any personal trainer to take pre season fitness training. In fact there are two at the gym I go to, who could surfice. I am not saying that is the best scenario, but it could be done.
  7. I would say there is nothing better than watching your team win live in a stadium setting. It's shit when you lose.
  8. The penguins of Madagascar is more interestring
  9. They were also a couple of clever thugs. They never gave in, and always seamed to gain control of where-ever they played . A prime example is Hughes, out of position in the Carling cup final against Spurs. None of the Spurs players wanted to be anywhere near him.
  10. The same could have been said of both Hughes and Souness. It is just as players, they were more subtle at it than Ferguson. !
  11. To tell the truth we haven't had decent personnel in those positions for years. The first bit of pre-season training is mainly about stamina and fitness. Any coach should be able to do that.
  12. Ash Phillips will eventually be as good, if not better than Lenihan. I would be more worried about losing Phillips. Our problem would be who do we get to fill in, in the meantime ? We have Ayala, Carter and Wharton, I think the most important question is how does the new manager want to set up the defence.
  13. Personally I will give my support to any manager that tries to get us promoted, if they fail then we look elsewhere. Is that not the case in any walk of life ?
