Dack is injured, Thomas is not available. -
I wouldn't.

And most of those touches have been poor. -
And yet VAR seems to work in rugby. At rugby it seems to be that all the officials communicate with each other and come up with a collective decision, usually the right one.

It's better than not scoring them. -
I used to go swimming there when I was a kid.

To win matches, Yes. -
I would have preferred to have seen Pratt start at center-half. But perhaps Mola looks good in training.

He may even be a more competent striker than Gallagher. -
Mola is being played at center half to cover for the players that have been moved on or are with the first team squad. He is not good as a center-half, but he is reasonably strong in the air.

Perhaps he lived in Penwortham when he joined the messageboard.

I would still replace Brereton with Dolan. -

Thomas is ineligible against Huddersfield. -
We played quite well until going down to ten. In the end we were out-muscled by a physically larger side. Some of our football was a delight to watch, as was our goal. We played a short, fast passing game. They played long ball cutting out midfield.
-
The linesman had a nightmare in this incident. The forward was a good yard offside, but the linesman was a few yards behind the play and didn't give it. Then Eastham took the player out. Mitigation for the linesman is that the area he was running in was just mud. The other side has artificial grass put down

I agree with your first four words -
No, but it is what we have got.
-
Personally, due to our lack of pace at full-back. I would play three center-halfs and two wing-backs, three central defenders, and two central strikers. With the players we have for the Huddersfield game, I would go : Kaminski Carter Hyam Wharton Britten Pickering Garrett Wharton Travis Szmodic Dolan
-
I would like to see a central midfield three of Garrett, Adam Wharton and Travis.
-
Jon Dahl Tomasson - no longer Sweden coach

We play a tactic that works well if the opposition attack us. The problem is we play the same tactic when the opposition don't need to attack us, so it doesn't work. -

So why persist in developing Liverpools player rather than ours ?
