Or a trip to Specsavers. -
I think a more telling factor will be how much they are getting paid, rather than fixture congestion.

No it isn't. After that last performance, any paid employee in any walk of life would be trying to make sure it doesn't happen again, not going away to try to forget it happened. In the same post you have said JDT needs to have the players in for training, and also let them go on holiday, which is it ? -

From what I have seen of Hirst, he is scared of going in for a tackle. If a striker is only effective at certain parts of the season, he is fucked. -
I don't know, that is why I asked the question.

If only Carlsberg did fun and good times.

Where are Ash Phillips, Adam Wharton, JRC, Pike, Mola, Markanday, and Hirst ?

I have never seen him play in league 2, so I cannot comment. But in the games I have seen him play, Burns has upset every defence. Even when he personally has not had a great game
-
I agree Leonard is tidy, but that is all. He just about stands out at U21s level. If he will make the step-up to first team level, is a question that I do not have an opinion about. If I was forced to say either way I would say that Leonard will fall short of being a first team player.
-
One thing you do get from Burns, is aggression. He upsets any defender he comes up against.
-
I would say Sam Burns is better than either Butterworth or Vale. Him and Leonard seem to have a good understanding of each others play.

A 2-1 win for the U21s against Villa. A pretty poor game between two poor sides. Batty got stretchered off with what looked like an injury to his left shin. Hopefully it was just precautionary. Nothing to do with his injury, but I could not understand playing Batty as a central defender in a three. The game itself was poor in the first half by the Rovers, but improved for the second half. The only two that stood out for me were Leonard and Burns. Gamble at the back was steady. But a win is a win. PS. There maybe some confusing reports on the game, as the team sheets were a load of bollocks. Burns and Wood with our goals.

Who happens to be a skint labourer. -
No, it is a money making exercise

I see the official site has both the U21s v Celtic, and the firsts v Forest, being played on the 20th Dec at Ewood. The strange thing is that they are selling tickets for the U21s but not the first team.

If it rubs the salt into Scotlands wounds, I am all for it.

That's a couple more than one question.

George Best for me. Even when defenders just tried to hack him down, he kept going and more often than not it ended with a goal.

I wish we could have bought a win last Sunday. -

Then, don't go onto Twitter. -
Get down to watch the U21s

Batty played at left back, Gent left side of midfield, but almost as left wing-back. It is a shame that Burns did not get his chance to show how effective he is up front with Leonard. I would be tempted to leave Pears on the first team bench, and keep Eastham playing be it with our U21s, or on loan.

1-1 versus Porto B, a fair result all in all. The effort put in by the youngsters was fantastic, especially when we played the second half with ten men. The team will be disappointed to concede the equaliser in injury time. But it was a great effort. I felt sorry for Sam Burns, within minutes of him coming on as a sub, we had Harlock sent off for a strong tackle, and Burns was asked to cover in midfield. Nobody stood out, but it was refreshing to see Eastham using long quick kicks to get Portos defenders turning.

That's what I do.
