The playing the ball across the back line is a good ploy, if you have the players with the ability to do it. With the Rovers each pass becomes slightly worse than the previous pass, eventually ending up with a mistake or a punt downfield under pressure.

It would be interesting to see a midfield three of Adam Wharton, Travis, Mola. with Garret as a bench replacement.

I have seen Mola a couple of times for the U21s, he looks impressive when he is on the left side of midfield. He has a tendency to drift from center-half into his favoured midfield position. I think he will make first team, either on the left of a midfield three, or left wing-back /full-back

This fixture will clash with the U21s game with Celtic, I wonder if they will allow the U21s game to be played at Leyland ? It may also mean the Rovers fielding the first team.

I don't think that Dacks ability, is a factor for him being kept for the bench. But I think that his wages being on the bench, is a point not in his favour.

As I have previously stated. Give this years season ticket holders, an extra discount on next seasons, season tickets. The Rovers need additional season ticket holders, not just the same 8500.
