Your quote must be aimed at me. All I can say is that, I think Pears at best looks an average professional goalkeeper . -

So why look at a striker, when what we need is a right-back ? -

Is he any good at right-back ? -
I would assume their expectations are the same as any club, that is, to win as many points as possible.
-
It's not doing them much good in the league.

Or large events like shopping or walking down the street or coming into contact with other people. In fact just stay in your house. You may not live longer, but it will seem like it. -

I thought he was a forward ? -
Another point that I took from last nights game is, It's not just the first team that hasn't got a clue about taking throw-ins.

I think Steriakis must be injured, as he wasn't even on the bench for the U23s tonight. -

No. -
5-1 win against forest tonight, it would have been more but the Forest keeper had a good game. George Pratt was impressive at the back. Alex Baker has a good turn and is quite strong, his final ball and shooting need working on. There was some feisty tackles going in from both sides. The ref actually did fairly well in comparison with some of the idiots that have been down here.

True Pears has a good record so far. I still think he is a good shot stopper, but is poor at crosses and doesn't command the box enough. At the moment he is the best understudy to Kaminsky that we have. Just my opinion. -

Putting away fans in the Blackburn end upper, is not practical. Whereas putting them in the Riverside is do-able. Why shut down a relatively new stand in the Darwen end, when if needs be, the delapidated Riverside could be closed. -

Where have I said that ? There were a couple of times on Saturday when he miss read the ball, which then bounced to one of our players to clear. If the ball had bounced to one of their players they would have had tap ins. That is what I call riding your luck. -

Pears has done what he was brought for, he has covered for our injured first choice keeper. He has rode his luck so far, which is just what you want. Lets get Kaminski back in the sticks and carry on with this incredible run. -

If you walk from Whitebirk to Ewood in 10 minutes, it probably will. -

Mowbray was conspicuous by his absence in the celebrations at the end.

Just got back from Bournemouth. What a good day, and match, the night wasn't bad either. A great team effort, I have to say I hope we find the finance to sign Van Heck. I love his strength. For our older members, he reminds me of Graham Hawkins. The defensive side of our game has improved no end. With ten minutes to go, I have never felt so confident that we would hold onto the lead. -

I never said that the team wouldn't be weakened, I said I didn't think that Diaz is our best player. -

I think the owners have already shown that they don't give a flying one, what the fans think.
