At the time, right or wrong, they where the Rovers's representatives. The contract was between The Rovers and Kean was it not ?
-
Nobody is disputing that. But it is what the Rovers agreed to.

The way I see it,is that he would still get a bonus even if we were relegated. That is not the same as getting a bonus for getting us relegated. I still think this is a very poor clause for the Rovers to put in the managers contract, no matter who the manager is.

It went with the terraces.

I have registered on the Hibs site, they seem to think that our only problem with Kean was that he was a shit manager. I think they are in for a rude awakening.
-
At center-half, he is behind Phillips, Carter, McGloire, Wharton, Lenihan, Ayala, who are all our players. But that matters nothing to the fact that, at the moment, he is not good enough for league football. Personally I don't think he ever will be

The last time I went to this fixture it was by train to Parson Street, I recomend doing that, there are a couple of decent pubs between the station and the ground. One was a ardent BCFC pub with loads of memorabillia on the walls. The old adage, keep your gob shut and you won't get any trouble, came into play. An easy, 10 minute downhill walk to catch the train back, after the game.
