  1. Bennet had so much time and space in the first half yet produced nothing. His poor passing is only beaten by his dreadful crossing
  2. I have never been so close to chucking my season ticket away, as I feel now. We just lost to the poorest side I have ever seen at Ewood. A team that waisted time ten minutes into a game and we connot beat them. There is something wrong with us
  3. OK I’ll get the ice creams in
  4. It’s now sunny at Lytham
  5. 4-0 Rovers, it could have been 8.
  6. That is a good sign for the team, which is my priority.
  7. I prefer the back 3 side
  8. I am really looking forward to Saturday
  9. Nyambe is physically stronger and faster, which makes him harder to beat . What I have seen at Ewood and more importantly away, when we are under more pressure is less times that Nyambe has been beaten at right back than Williams
  10. A better right back than Bennett
  11. I don’t judge on stats, I judge on what I see. With this in mind I stand by opinion that Nyambe is a better right back than Bennett
  12. I will
  13. I was in the boys brigade
  14. I think this is the first loan deal where I hope there is a clause saying he can play against us.
  15. How is Davenport doing?
  16. I will tell you what is impossible to do. Be certain of an outcome before it has happened.
  17. You certainly have
  18. Would you get Pukki on a free transfer now. I'd swap £5m Gallagher for free transfer Messi, but that is unrealistic also.
  19. So yet again it is down to the way we are playing rather than his abilities. All of the Reading fans I spoke to after the game would have swapped Gallagher for any of their forwards.
  20. No the statement was that our position in the wages paid table would go up considerably with the signing of Holtby. As I do not know his wages that is why I asked if it was fact or conjecture.
  21. So Gallagher is not the problem. It’s the way we play that is the problem. But back to the original point. The reason the flick-ons are useful, despite not leading to goals, is that they make the defence have to play under more pressure.
  22. No it isn’t if you are facing your own goal when you get the ball your choices usually are pass back to the keeper or turn blind not knowing where exactly the opposition is. Both can and will lead to mistakes
  23. Winning the headers make the defenders have to turn towards their own goal, making their jobs harder
  24. Did you see his contribution yesterday ?
