I think you're forgetting we're on a run of one win in twenty odd games under two different coaches the first of whom many on here revere as the best thing since sliced bread so they can't be that good.

Blimey, shows what a game of opinions football is! I think Hedges is absolutely dire and would struggle to get a game at League 1 or League 2 level if he wasn't here. Like Gallaher he's an absolute sick note as well so you'd be extremely hard pressed to find two players who offer less in terms of talent and reliability than either of those 2 imo.

I thought he got some very harsh criticism for his comments about JDT - if he didn't like playing suicide football in a kamikaze system that's his prerogative. Some managers and players just don't see eye to eye.

I'd say that's three fairly decent performances under the circumstances in the last three games against Boro, Brum and Ipswich given the run we'd been on under each of the last 2 coaches. Hopefully we're starting to turn a corner and there are grounds for cautious optimism.
