As far as the Swansea game goes, I don't really see why the "pop down to Ewood once a season because the tickets are cheap" brigade should be rewarded once again but if you're going to do it you might as well do it properly, let everyone in for a quid and compensate season ticket holders by reducing their ST prices for next season accordingly. As far as prices for next season are concerned, I don't see price as an issue per se unless there is a massive increase, but imo I do find the decision to increase prices a rather strange and counterproductive one given that this season could be described as drab at best and entertainment levels at Ewood (four or five games apart) have been fairly dire. A price freeze would have been the way to go for me.

Despite the respectable scoreline that was an absolute tubbing, six or seven one wouldn"t have flattered them in the slightest. We were so far behind a vibrant Norwich it was embarrasing. We are so going nowhere under Mowbray. Leutwiler, Bennett, Williams, Conway ,Graham (Did he even touch the ball?) The point was merely underlined when at 2-1 down we substituted Dack for Chapman. You can't have two flair playets on the pitch at the same time, oh no. Will be renewing my ST but not looking forward to next season at all and fear we will be relegation fodder unless there are massive changes, starting in the dug out and continuing down the spine of the team.

Apart from the keeper, extremely happy with that line up. Hope we win 6-0 with hat-tricks from Nyambe and BB then they might have a slight chance of retaining their places for the next game!

Tying Travis down to a reasonable deal will (or ought to be) very near to the top of our list of priorities this summer.

Didn't go to Forest but certainly didn't think he played well against Derby. Not as bad as he has been but still looked exactly what he is, a player playing out of position. Think we can see from this 18 that nothing much will be changing next season.

Everyone wants us to win every game. Everyone wants us to continue playing like we did tonight. I'm assuming no-one wants the manager to revert to his previous selections, most would probably like to see a couple of further tweaks in that respect and despite a great performance tonight it is still only 7 points out of 36. I think that just about covers it. I don't think anyone is upset we won.

Who on the evidence of tonight has obviously been picking completely the wrong personnel nearly all season. If lay people, the fans, can see that why can't a highly paid professional? I'd say a "good" manager identifies his best team from the off and the fans are astounded by how well the team plays. He doesn't pick the wrong team all season then stumble almost by default on something that works because he has been forced or shamed into it by his previous poor selections!

Great performance tonight. Guess what? Pick (some of) the right players you play well and win. Only about the 4th or 5th home game I've enjoyed all season. All this really proves though is the manager has been picking the wrong team all season by persisting with at least one of Evans or Smallwood or both, ignoring Rothwell and playing Reed out of position as a resilt of which we'veprobably lost all chance of signing him. From that side if you put Nyambe in for Bennett, Chapman in for Conway a decent striker up front and a big nasty centre half next to Lenihan you'd be cooking on gas. The pressure is now on Mowbray to develop what we saw tonight and not revert to type.

If I recall I merely pointed out that Katie Price came across fairly well in the jungle in "I'm a Celebrity" totally removed from the Jordan persona. I know TM is limited in what he can say to the Press but I find it very patronising when he treats everyone like mugs. Its something like 21 or 22 ppints from 25 games now and 4 points out of the last 33 so to insinuate we've been a bit unlucky and that there's nothing really to worry about is insulting everyone's intelligence. He could at least concede it's nowhere near good enough and say they're going all out to turn it round etc etc

To use the famous turn of phrase it was obvious to a blind man on a galloping horse that we needed to bring in at least 3 players last summer to go straight into and improve the first eleven. If that had have happened then one more of similar ilk coming in in January would have freshened things up and kept everyone on their toes. Then two or three more top quality additions again this summer and we're good to challenge at the right end of the table. None of that has happened and indeed quite the contrary has happened, a raft of players who should have been moved on have been handed new deals. As a result we're in a right mess and imo Mowbray's handling of the playing side of things has been criminally negligent. Yet we do have some promising players at the Club, albeit Mowbray refuses to play them. Bring in a vibrant younger manager with a more positive outlook and sign a couple of actual centre halves, a dominant midfielder and spend big on a proven striker and all may not be lost. There's little doubt in my mind though that if nothing changes we're heading straight back to League 1.

Think you're missing the point completely. Mowbray is struggling to match the points otal of a side managed for two thirds of the season by Coyle. So what does that say about him?

Imo Mowbray has completely neutralised Dack by bypassing him with our long ball style of play to the extent where he has had to resort to coming back to take the ball off the toes of the centre half to get on it. As a result I think he has lost some of his spark and mojo. However, whether or not Dack's dip in form is down to the manager or down to the player being a bit of a tit is largely irrelevant. That isn't the major issue. The bigger issue is that we are almost solely reliant on Dack and if he isn't on song we are completely bolluxed. In that respect we haven't moved forward as a Club one iota since we were in League 1. We have a poorish team. Then we have Dack. That is the problem. Not Dack.

My reaction entirely whenever I watch him. Time to stop being so soft on some of these underperforming players, they haven't been "good servants" at all on the whole, they've been instrumental in years of mediocrity/failure punctuated by one decent season in a League we should arguably never have been in in the first place.

Im on the same sort of lines as you team wise, I'd play Magloire at CB, the only game we've won in recent times was with him at CB and his presence and enthusiasm seemed to give us a lift. The others seemed briefly roused from their lethargy as they wanted him to do well and were really pleased for him when we kept a clean sheet. Also BB up front and pass the ball into feet. Yep, I find it amusing how people finally have finally cottoned on to how utterly useless these two particular players are about two years after I did!. Hopefully people will no longer think I was being peevish because said players were enjoying inappropriate relatiions with my better half.! On a serious note it's no laughing matter though. Corry Evans was briefly sensational when he first joined the Club but after getting injured on international duty shortly thereafter he has been absolutely chronic yet for some reason he gets picked week in week out, month in month out season in season out and gets rewarded with pay rises and contract extensions and the like. Ditto Bennett. He's been terrible ever since he joined the Club and has only ever briefly had a decent spell in central midfield in League 1. Even when he's having one of his better games he's merely completely ineffective. Ditto Conway. Many years past his sell by date and awarded a new contract on purely sentimental grounds last summer. Ditto Williams. How is he even considered for first team selection? There must be youngsters around the Club better than he is. I don't understand it. Does the fact the manager likes all of the above and/or they're a good old bloke round the Club on a day to day basis completely blind the gaffer to what they're actually doing out on the pitch?

With all due respect, surely Mowbray falls into that category anyway. We're not talking about the possibility of replacing Kenny Dalglish are we?

But by the same token, someone else would not necessarily be any worse either and might well be significantly better. If you took your viewpoint you'd never change the manager ever. To be fair to Venky's out of their last three permanent appointments they came up with Lambert who theoretically should have been a massive improvement on Bowyer but wasn't, and Mowbray who did well initially. They also apparently identified Warnock before being persuaded to take the cheaper option in Coyle. That was a catastrophic error as I'd take Warnock over Coyle or Mowbray every day of the week.
