For once I agree. Fairly blatant red in today's game I'd have thought. He wasn't daft, went down pretending he was as badly injured as Ohashi and got away with it. -

I usually agree with you on most things but on this completely disagree. You're entitled to your opinion but in mine Broughton was a complete bullshitter and imposter. Thought that from day one. The three strikers and the CB you're trying to defend didn't even score a goal between them or make a start for the Club respectively. They don't play for free, you cant defend them on the basis that they contributed the squate root of fuck all but we (possibly) broke even on the fee when they left -
I absolutely despair every time I read the FF minutes. Nothing is ever their fault, there's a smart arse answer for everything even when they are clearly in the wrong and by and large the Forum seem to sit there nodding along in agreement legitimising it all. Credit to K Hod for asking the pertinent question about lack of transfer investment. What a disgrace of an answer from our so called CEO. Also have we not confirmed that this so called requirement to lodge an equivalent monetary bond is a complete fallacy and they only have to provide personal guarantees (which they won't do)? Every time you read the minutes it feels like there are one or two individuals at the Club such as JDT and Eustace (and since Broughton left seemingly the Recruitment team) trying to make us successful and the "Commercial" side and Waggott trying to run us into the ground. And the Forum just sit there and go along with it for the most part.

Agreed. For me the two new lads might not turn out to be world beaters but they've already surpassed Gallagher's contribution for the entirety of last season and demonstrated the extent to which he was stealing a living over the years. -

And was within a gnat's bollock of taking the Club down to League 1. Notice he didn't mention Hirst, Ennis, Telalovic, Wahlstedt and O Riordan as examples of players signed. And the cheeky bastard claiming credit for Adam Wharton who was at the Club long before he got here. What an absolute Grade A knobhead. -

Happier Days. Can you imagine a £100m asset being allowed to jump over a Mini these days? Lol. -

Better half couldn't find it on Sky. Was it red button? Lol. How good a job is Eustace doing on three and six, a half eaten Mars bar and an empty Twix wrapper? -

In Marbella area for my older daughter's wedding tomorrow, having to endure the Man City Newcastle game with a load of Geordie in-laws. From what's being said on here Cantwell sounds like Rochina in terms of raw ability? Why did we kick off at 12.30 if not on Sky? -

Who expected this? Trying not to get too carried away as we were in extremely good positions three times after half a season under both Mowbray and JDT only to completely implode in the second half. BUT.....there does seem to be a lot more grit and determination about us under Eustace. Long may it continue - well for 46 games anyway. -

Good play by Dolan according to Talksport? -

I had one eye on the first half and watched the second half and found it extremely boring as we laboured painfully to overcome a really poor Finnish side. I really hope Carsley doesn't get the job, I'm not sure what we're supposed to learn about his abilities from us knocking over a succession of poor sides in the Nations League. Never take one pass when six will do is obviously his motto. Like watching paint dry. -
John Eustace - our head coach

That's nonsense. What's the point in ever having a contract then? -
John Eustace - our head coach

Other way round I'd say - it's our right to hold him to his contract. He could have walked out and tried to claim constructive dismissal though I suppose. -

Donations invited to buy the poor old lino a guide dog. As you can see he's bang in line with play. Unbelievable. -

Without counting I could have sworn he booked at least nine of ours - he was pulling his card out every 2 mins. Lost the plot completely. -

Even worse decision then in that case than if they flagged Dolan. Hedges never touched the ball and therefore technically wasn't active. Certainly watching on TV it appeared the linesman never flagged until the ball reached Dolan which of course was completely irrelevant as the ball was played a couple of seconds earlier. -

Need a proper CB. Not to somehow shoehorn Pickering into the side merely for the sake of it. -

Could do with an extra striker far more than another CB imo but in an ideal world need both. Wonder if there's any decent free agents floating about? -

Great point. Like the transfer window, we eked the maximum possible out of that game. Playing with 10 men and more or less scored with the only shot on target. Well done lads and John Eustace. -

Looks miles better than Pickering. Just a shame we couldn't bring anyone in in the other full back berth.
