It's about time Cantwell started earning his money. He's been worse than useless recently. -

They sent over a large chunk of money relatively recently to pay off the Crossbaron loan didn't they?. Perhaps someone like Wilesden could confirm. -

The Court case doesn't affect Rovers - they just seemingly don't want to fund us properly anymore - the legal proceedings would appear to have been a very convenient excuse over the last couple of years. Maybe initially they were prevented from sending funds over without obtaining the permission of the authorities but that doesn't seem to be the case any longer and the excuse is wearing extremely thin now. Even Waggott admits there's no impediment to them funding us. -

100%. It'll be unforgivable if we drop out of contention before any main signings come in. -

The last time we did that they were trying to stay out of the way of the surveyors measuring up Brockhall . -

But if he did......... It's us fans that are creating about a lack of (quality) transfer activity as I think is our prerogative. If we're not imploring the Club to spend masses more than they can realistically afford on quality players then we're not doing our job. And that's without even factoring in all the recent sales. -

Why would it do that? They have big enough squads to cope. -

Hypothetically, if the prize money for winning the FA Cup was significantly more than the Champions League the Big Clubs would be dumping all the meaningless European games like a shot and concentrating their efforts on winning the FA Cup. -

He has also specifically said recently that there is some money to spend in January so I very much doubt he would have been daft enough to go into print with that unless he had been told that by Waggott or whoever. At the moment we're still waiting. Who knows, the Club may break the habit of the last few January windows and eventually exceed our expectations but if things fizzle out like normal then he would still be entitled to be annoyed IF he'd been told he would be backed. What happened under previous managers is largely irrelevant if he's been told that things will be different this January. Whether he believes it or not is another matter but a broken promise is a broken promise no matter how credible. -

I wouldn't have minded a replay against Boro. Why should I? Don't suppose the the manager or players would be too keen but tough. Win the game at the first time of asking then. -

That's a shocking post. You've never liked him from day one and now you're trying to stick the boot into him for something he hasn't even done! IF he is frustrated (and no-one apart from you would blame him) he isn't showing it and is conducting himself impeccably in a thoroughly professional manner. Unlike JDT in the latter stages. Don't think Eustace will ever throw in the towel. -

Obviously not all replays are massive money spinners but not many ( if any) ties should result in a loss and it was worth it for the lower league sides for the outside chance of a jackpot. They scrapped unlimited replays to go to a maximum of one replay, which was probably sensible, and should have left it at that. So what if you think there's too much football? It's not compulsory, you don't have to watch it! I don't care for Palace against Wolves on a Monday night particularly or anything at all in the Champions League before the knock out stages. There's always an off button though, again don't have to watch it. -

No I agree with that IF you're going to scrap replays (which I disagree strongly with in the first place) -

For "unable" substitute "unwilling". But as you say either way the eventual outcome is the same. -

What's the upper age limit on the U21's whereby they have to register? Edit - scrub that. I was getting confused because overage players can play at U21 level. -

Dyche would be quite a coup for them I'd say. Depends on whether he wants to dive straight back in or take a break. -

Think we'll have to hope that the fact WBA seemingly don't want to pay compensation for anyone will save us. -

That's not that much of a carrot for the lesser sides. No replays where 2 teams are playing each other from the same division? -

Schlupp not looking very likely either - Palace manager saying that he doesn't want to lose him and the player hasn't asked for a move. Bearing in mind his contract expires at the end of the season, the situation only likely to change if someone comes in with a 2-3 year deal and Schlupp decides he wants the security. -

Can we just summarise all this as chaddy believes that everything the Club says will happen does and you (like 99% of the rest of us) dont? -

I wonder what happens if Eustace doesn't like any of the names presented to him?
