  1. Even if we draw today, we have an outside chance on the last day. Win today and it very much goes down the last day.
  2. Agree - the watchalong was good, enjoyed the team's input and feedback. Saved me throwing my Mac against the wall. It's clear from some of his comments that he reads things on forums such as this. So hopefully he's seeing how much of an arrogant bell-end he's made himself look.
  3. This ballbag can't become the next CEO. I mean, we thought Waggott was (is) bad, this would be next-level. We can't allow it to happen.
  4. Seriously? The lying, alcoholic convicted criminal almost single-handedly put us on the track to shiteness; a path we may never recover from. All whilst smirking and taking digs at the fans. He was caught drink-driving and literally tried to blame the fans. There's a reason why he's hid on the other side of the world for the majority of the time since he left us. I genuinely hope that he dares to show his ratty little face around Blackburn one day. In short, not a fan.
  5. Thought the same, just did my own ratings. Wasn't a fan of Woodrow playing, but he did ok - and got the assist. Forshaw was actually very decent today.
  6. 2 clean sheets (away at Sunderland and Luton) and 1 conceded in 3 games. I'll take 'incredibly suspect'. Even moreso when you consider the alternative.
  7. Not a pretty first half, but we've been solid enough and took the one good chance of the game. Good finish from Dolan and, in fairness, Woodrow hasn't been horrible. Still, all too little too late. Just an extra win or couple of draws in that horrific run and we'd be in the mix.
  8. He had a good game - positioning and distribution in particular were levels above his predecessor. Crosses fine from memory, don't recall any specific issues.
  9. Good performance and result. Thought we were aggressive and created lots of chances. Dolan was good, Tronstad and Brittain obviously very good. Toth so much better than Calamity - just his positioning and distribution alone are superior to the former. Shame we couldn't do this one or twice in the last 10-12 games, or we'd still very much be in the race for the play off positions.
  10. Very decent first half, Brittain has been excellent going forward for us. If he had someone better than Hedges down that left side, we'd look even better. Happy for Tronstad.
  11. Great news no Pears, you'd like to think he's played his last game for us. Shame we have none of the kids on the bench, would have been nice to see a Tyjon or a Dunn get some minutes.
  12. But in argument: he's not Aynsley Pears.
  13. We faced 3 shots on target yesterday - there is literally zero chance that Pears saves all 3. And that's not counting the 'fingertip save' onto the underside of the bar, as claimed by the Rovers social media team. Personally I'd stick Michalski in and let him finish the season for us, but Toth is several levels better than Pears, so it's better than sticking with Calamity. Hopefully he's played his last game for us.
  14. Jesus, has the lad shagged your wife or something? Flapped at a couple, but had safe hands otherwise - came for a few crosses that Pears wouldn't have had a clue how to handle. Save at the death was good also. A thousand times better than Calamity.
  15. Pears out / Toth in, win and a clean sheet away from home. Thought we defended well, Yuki took his goal well. Luton are absolutely shite.
  16. Literally speaking, correct. But Pears has been (rightly) targeted as the weak point in our side by most opposition this season - and it's paid off for them (early goals / etc).
  17. We finally drop Calamity Pears (injury my arse) and we don't concede in the first few minutes. In fact, a clean sheet at HT. Almost like it's a coincidence.
  18. Does anyone actually give any credence to anything that joker Nixon says?
  19. I genuinely refuse to believe that either Toth or Michalski would be performing worse than Pears. He's consistently atrocious, costs us goals/games and is - understandably so - targeted by opposition as our weak point in the team. Persevering with him, when he's so detrimental to the team, is mind boggling.
  20. Waggott should perhaps be reminded that it's impossible to be sued for telling the truth.
  21. Too many insiders. However, it does seem as though the owners have been intentionally kept in the dark and/or have neglectfully left SP with full autonomy to run the whole club. You would hope that this information and his blatant abuse of power / lack of competency in role will get back to them. It would seem that he's the root of all evil - as well as being the one constant - as far as what's wrong with the club.
  22. From the information and who it resolves around, you'd suspect that comes either directly from JE, or somebody with close links to him. Also, I've been (mentally) calling you Irac. Today I learned that it's just 'Carl' backwards.
  23. What is quite interesting is that we're seeing a lot of leaks of legitimate information - and this has ramped up recently. Certainly members of the backroom staff want to get certain points across. I'm still joining the dots at the minute, but we have the opposite of a united camp within the club.
  24. I said the same when I drove past earlier today. They seemingly jet washed the area near to the away ticket office, but the rest of the stadium looks like the inside of a neglected fish tank.
  25. I'll be somewhere over the Atlantic in a metal bird when this game takes place - which, under normal circumstances, I'd be a bit gutted about. But, quite frankly, it'll be nice to forget it's even happening. We know it'll be more of the same; we know Pears will play, we know Sheffield will get an early goal and we know things will go from bad to worse. All while Ismael stands gormless on the sideline and the 3 stooges are gormless in the stands.
