Fair contract is all context. He might be on 8k, we might have offered 12k - it's been rumoured Cantwell is on 20k. He might want that but we can't afford it - not with trying to get down the income to wages ratio. And even if they could match at 20k - Boro might be offering 25k. Essentially once other established Championship teams become interested, we cannot compete financially.

Absolutely people have the right to make judgement on signings. Similarly, people would do well to remember some signings have completely flipped the initial judgement, or even judgement after 1 season. Szmods, Brittain, Bezza....far from great first seasons.
