Ishmael has done enough so that we don't need to be looking to sack him, there's enough trust to give him a go to shape the squad. However, there is little trust that those involved in the signing process will give him what he wants. Trying to be objective - Ohashi, gueye to an extend, cantwell to an extent, Yuri, beck, bath, weimann - successes. Baker also to an extent. Sanderson and Forshaw - I don't think they've done anything which will make them be missed. Acd - awful. Too early for the young lad, may have been better in L1.

I fully agree that next season would be the one to try some sort of 'gimmick' to give ST sales a shot in the arm. But I also recognise there is a commercial aspect and the LT report highlights the cost across the division, which will encompass a broad range of local economics. Interesting article in the LT on ST prices across the division. Rovers pretty much have the cheapest or one of the cheapest offerings in each category. It doesn't take away from a missed opportunity re the anniversary year, but the conclusion I get is football at this level, like many concerts, is pricing a lot of working class people out

Suppose the only positive this year is getting them on sale early, compared to previous years. Might give them time to re-think the pricing when sales plunge. So little imagination to the pricing or anniversary, merely being used as the basis of their marketing. Shame.
