Ayala is 32 and he's out of contract in the summer (unless he signed a new deal at some point?) Bringing in JPVH now and not offering Ayala a new deal would be good business I would think. And I rate Ayala highly to be honest, but at 33 and no stranger to the treatment table, he'll need replacing sooner rather than later. Someone will snap JPVH up, might as well be us!

He'd be a stop gap for sure if JDT decided to approach. Don't really know much about him but a bit of experience, might not go a miss in our squad. (I'd prefer pace though!) No idea how good he is though.

According to Dean Smith, there is no problems with his attitude but his form seems to have tanked somewhat. He's still not in the Norwich squad and Bournemouth didn't what him. Feels like he's turning into another Rodwell type project, not sure we need that.

Probably add Edun to the outs list, we can't get rid of everyone but he isn't good enough either.

Cheers. Quite a lot of interest in the championship by the looks. We'll do well to get him. Also talk of a permanent move away but he has a few years left on his deal, so assume that would price us out. A loan with a fixed future fee (like we have with Hirst) might work 🤷🏻‍♂️

This. We really need to sort out better RB cover so that it keeps Hedges away from RB. He's one of our better players and certainly adds more to the attack. Speaking of RB, despite JRC being much improved since he returned, he's once again shown he can't last more than 3-4 games in succession before breaking down with injury.

As a side note, Cardiff were dreadful. They had nothing but fouls in them, certainly in the first half. We can only beat what's in front of us but they are borderline a league one team.

Can we put the notion that he's finished or can't play 90mins to bed now?
