  1. Definitely looks like one to avoid. Been on loan twice, got injured on his debut twice. 20 years old and has 3 first team appearances to his name, got injured in 2 of those apps.
  2. Yeah, i'm not having a go at you or anything, i know you're only passing on info/knowledge. Just trying to generally dampen expectations of the club being ambitious, before Nixon starts firing up his "Warchest" articles again.
  3. I love these Roving cam videos that the Rovers media guy does. The pitch side view of the goals is great.
  4. No, no, no ,no, no, no. Don't do it Adam! literally anywhere but there (or The Dingles, obvs) As much as it pains me to say it, their midfield 3 of Tonali, Bruno and Joelinton is pretty damned strong, he wouldn't be playing every week in that squad, although they are likely to have Champions league duties to contend with also. Just don't go there Adam, please, I beg πŸ™
  5. We won't be paying anywhere near Β£5m for a player, the clowns in charge have already stated that we won't be. It's highly unlikely that we'll be paying Β£2m for a player either, Β£1.5m would be our ceiling I reckon.
  6. Really? Seems like a waste of wage budget to me. He's not been as bad as we expected him to be in fairness and I can only assume his only role would be coming on to see a game out. It's also the classic "pathway blocker" for Montgomery, who's main position is centre mid.
  7. What needs to happen to get us into the play offs and PNE relegated? Because that's the ideal scenario right now!
  8. A no brainer, from both sides really. Although happy to have him next season, we need to some positive news with regards to Tronstad, Travis, Brittain & Hyam really. I expect Batth, Hedges & Weimann will all be signed up before any of the above though.
  9. The line they keep spouting is "Parker only spent Β£18m" so i've assumed that players were brought in before he joined? I dunno. Even if it's a loan turned permanent, it still counts, there isn't any escaping that they spent circa Β£55m, which is a hell of a lot at this level.
  10. Dingles very much pushing the narrative that they only spent Β£18m, Transfermarket has them down as spending Β£55m. I must be missing something here?
  11. Dolan has (rightly) had his critics over the last few season, feels like we've put all the work in developing him as a player and now someone else is going to reap the benefits of all our work. Poor, from the club side that we haven't protected our investment. He'll assess his options as a minimum but on a free (even with a small fee to us) he'll have plenty of choice where to move and he'll get better wages at most other clubs.
  12. Agreed. There will be so much going on in this last round of championship fixtures. Just kick back, hope for a Rovers victory and watch the whole lot unfold.
  13. Spurs are absolutely wank πŸ˜‚
  14. How are they doing this? Why do we just have accept that we can't compete or generate money in any way other than selling anything that's not nailed down? Birmingham might have a bigger fan base but not enough to get anywhere near the levels of clubs with parachute payments.
  15. I think we'll be looking to shift both out but that would depend on if the club actually get any contract offers on the table for Trav, Tronstad and Brittain. Buckley has had repeated chances and has failed to take them. I think JE saw that there is a player in there, and gave him the armband as a way of trying to push him to actually achieve his best, the making of him, if you like. I can only assume that Buckley has got issues with applying himself/knuckling down. JRC is a good player but has 2 big problems, he's constantly injured and he is painfully slow. Hit his stride under JDT but struggled again when JE was here. I'd say both of their time at the club is up but with these clowns in charge, they're probably looking at binning off the better players and keeping the cheaper ones. So who knows, really.
  16. Getting into the playoffs might change his mind possibly? But personally I think he's done here (after the sheff utd game, obvs)
  17. Superb result, to come from a goal down and win isn't something we do that we do very often. Keeps us in with a shout and it's awesome to be going into the final day with something to play for, even if it's unlikely.
  18. Bell now kicking out Coventry players, got away with a yellow but not sure why players are doing this when this ref has already given 2 reds.
  19. Definitely doesn't seem to fit "the way we want to play" bollox that the clubs pushing.
  20. Walsh, the stupidest footballer on earth right now. Never a sending off in a million years mind you. Needless though.
  21. Aasgaard looks a good player though!
  22. But we want Luton to win so it drags PNE further into the mire.
