  1. Robbie Cotton, whatever happened to that kid?
  2. We're now carrying 7 centre mids Travis Tronstad Montgomery Buckley Forshaw Garrett Tavares Fair to say that something has to give. Obviously it won't be Tavares, Forshaw or Montgomery. Travis and Tronstad are the only 2 with any reasonable value. I'd be surprised if we're not trying to shift Garrett and Buckley but its finding someone to take them.
  3. That blue chair was probably in Waggotts office, he doesn't need it anymore.
  4. Just my opinion based on the loan spells he's had last season. Neither of those loans could really be viewed as a success, if we are being honest. For what it's worth (which isn't much), I wouldn't have an issue with him sticking around and seeing if he's up to it this season. I think he's contracted until 2027, so still in the clubs hands. I think the club will look to loan him again though
  5. I think Garrett and Buckley are done here. I'd throw JRC in as well but his versatility might just keep him about for a body in the squad.
  6. The Β£1.7m will definitely be the total amount, should certain clauses be hit. The club will be over egging it to the likes of Nixon, so its probably closer to Β£1.25m - Β£1.5m total. A small upfront fee and the rest spread over a 4 year contract, no more than Β£1m in total. We absolutely won't be spluffing Β£2m on 1 player.
  7. Spending Β£2m on one player doesn't sound like us at all. But 23 years old and has come through Leicesters academy seems like there could be some potential here. IF Trav and Tronstad are tied down to new deals, this is the sort of signing we should be making.
  8. The only positive about the Forshaw signing is that he adds experience. However, Tronstad and Travis have plenty of experience and they are basically captain and vice captain, so there is enough between them to help younger players. Clubs that sign Squad fillers aren't ever going to achieve anything. At best, they'll stand still. A much better plan would have been getting Tronstad and Travis onto new contracts 6 months ago, selling Buckley, signing 2 new players (probably from abroad), one with a reasonable amount of experience and the other a bit younger, who can challenge and develop. You've then got the likes of Montgomery also involved and pushing the rest/getting minutes. As it stands, Travis, Tronstad and Forshaw all walk for nothing in 12 months and we need to spend a lot money on a huge problem that could have been avoided well in advance.
  9. "He's just a back up" "He's just a squad player" "He's cheap" "He won't be playing much" A signing that shows nothing but a real lack of ambition or forward planning and just further evidence of cost cutting.
  10. Forshaw for another year. As expected but an underwhelming addition (or whatever we're calling it). A serious lack of ambition runs through this club.
  11. 100% that's what's happening. Both Sagnan and Antman have been linked but in both cases it's come to light shortly after that their valuation is Β£4m+, which is way beyond anything we'd be spending, meaning we were never genuinely looking to sign them.
  12. Another one to file in the bin. If he's worth Β£5m+, then I'm not sure why he's even being offered to us in the first place.
  13. I thought he'd had a contract offer on the table for months? Mental
  14. And definitely missing when a cross comes in
  15. Is this like a post-season tournament or a pre-season tournament? I noticed that Chelsea subbed on Liam Delap the other night, who they obviously only signed shortly before.
  16. Considering the club are always crying poverty, it is a bit strange we haven't tried to scrape some money out of this situation either now or in the future. I doubt any league 2 team would have paid any transfers fees, so your idea seems like a no brainer almost. Unless we've gone all noble and "done the right thing by the player", which is at odds with how the club operate on day to day basis.
  17. They'd already spent Β£30m, I'm guessing they expected more than a 21st place finish. (Disclaimer, I don't know the full in and outside of their business)
  18. He doesn't want to join and we dont want to pay. It was never going to happen.
  19. Wait..... .....no one went to the moon......?
  20. A quick Google suggests its currently Finley Burn, whi moved from Southend to City for Β£250k as the most expensive as it stands.
  21. Are all these Pasha out banners the work of the coalition? or just some guys doing their thing?
  22. Selles the guy that took Hull to the brink of relegation?
