  1. What about Nzonzi and Cairney, sold for no where near their valuation? Cairney, if I remember was sold from under the manager's feet.
  2. Haha, yeah booing Bradley Johnson would be just like booing my own kids 🤔😂
  3. I missed that, what happened? (Or appeared to happen)
  4. I hope it is tbh. It worked well for a 2 month period where we allowed teams the ball and hit them on the break. It's been worked out and we've really struggled with it over the last few months. Historically, Mowbray has attempted and failed to implement a back 3 several time before. He's got a conundrum on his hands because he won't dare drop any of Lenihan, JPVH or Wharton. With Dack getting back in the pitch as well, his best position has always been behind the striker. And it was a struggle to fit him in last time in anywhere else. Last night, the way we set up was like peak death spiral, actually embarrassing. Second half was much improved and i hope he sticks with it and it might just be the start of a good end of season run.
  5. Nar, Johnson to start as a false, upside down, number 12, inside attacking forward. At right back.
  6. It's quite unbelievable to think how we lined up and started this game.
  7. Get in! A cross, to the striker Gallagher and he scores! Who'd of thought?
  8. Steve Bruce finding his feet at WBA? Currently beating Fulham 1-0
  9. Yep, the initial resurgence has died off and now things have settled, we need to function like a proper team
  10. Can only assume it's now: -----------------Kaminski Lenihan--JPVH--Wharton---Pickering -----------------Trav----Rothwell Dolan------------Dack-------------Khadra -------------------Gallagher
  11. The hell is this goal scoring lark all about?
  12. How on earth did he miss that? How?
  13. *Mowbray. Never want to see Mowbray again. I don't really rate Johnson but not really going to hold it against him when our buffoon of a manager plays him as a false 9. That by the way, is comfortably the worst tactic Mowbray has ever come up with. Literally any football fan would be able to tell that it wasn't going to work. Ever. Shambles
  14. He's hitting desperation levels now. But good to see Dacky getting 45mins
  15. That Spurs game was the worst, by far.
  16. Wait, I could only see bits of the first half. Is Johnson really playing upfront?
  17. Starts with Johnson and Travis, At home, Against Derby, Deserves everything he gets.
  18. Another game wondering where the goals will come from. A Rothwell moment of magic is about as good as it's going to get.
  19. Who knows? Are we out of the current death spiral? Is this the first game of the next resurgence? No idea. We could win emphatically or we could limp our way to a 0-1 defeat. More likely to go with the latter as my confidence in the team and management is at rock bottom.
  20. At the minute it's peaks and troughs. You get your hopes up and think we can beat anyone, to not being able to score a goal or seeing where the next win is coming from. Bristol was about as much of a gimmie as you could get. 19th in the league, not kept a clean sheet since the ice age and poor on the road. And what's happens, because we are on an awful run, they turn up and win. If his tenure was more WLD, he'd be viewed as bang average, which he actually is. He just does it in streaks, which polarises the view of him, depending if we are on a high or a low. At the end of the day, he isn't getting us promoted irrespective of how the results come. It will always be midtable(ish) under him.
  21. Yer I agree. Van Heke deffo look at signing, not sure on Khadra. We'll end up with neither.
  22. Fully aware of the stats but completely ignoring them? The manager is the reason we have only scored 3 goals and won only 3 games. We are in abysmal form and this isn't the first time either. It's always been the same under Mowbray, this season is no different. We won't finish the season in the playoffs. Twists and turns but not for us, we'll continue our fall until we are out of the playoffs and once we're out, we won't be getting back in. Yep they are, QPR won, dropping us to 5th and 4 teams below us ready to capitalise on our woeful run and overtake us.
