  1. And I appreciate it when they post the inside info that they have but, and it's with no disrespect to those posters but for one reason or another, they aren't always correct. I'd love it if they have finally looked further afield other than HSH, and only time will tell but history tells us that Venkys will just do as they always have and appoint another average/poor manager.
  2. I assume speaking to this bloke was a while ago? Or do you still speak to him now?
  3. Needed to keep some cash free to keep his HSH mates in wages. Unbelievable how much this agency has bled out of our club.
  4. Well that's depressing. So we can basically expect another HSH reject as our next manager. If that's the case, my interest in Rovers next season might just wane significantly.
  5. They were just rumours though, and nothing came of them. The only evidence you can point to is who Venkys have appointed in the past. The last 3, all coming from the same agency. Every manager they've appointed so far, being average/poor.
  6. Chaddy, I'd love nothing more than Farke to come here, he would be a dream appointment. But you've been following Rovers for a long, long time now and you know as well as I do that Venkys will not appoint a manager like Farke. In 12 years, the closest they came was appointing Lambert, who at the time, had a high stock but in typical Venky fashion, it fell apart quickly. Looks at this list: Kean Berg Appleton Bowyer Coyle Mowbray Lambert aside, that's the list of managerial appointments they've made. All shite, (Bowyer wasn't terrible tbf but the wheels came off eventually) they never go for the best. They go for the cheapest and it's reflected season after season with just another poor season that ends with nothing to play for. I wouldn't take a single person off that list back if offered. I wouldn't even let Kean back in the country if it was up to me.
  7. The English footballing pyramid is just a complete joke. Here we are, just 1 league below them, wondering how we are going to be able to bring in 8-10 players for half a curly wurly and a packet of love hearts, whilst City can go and spend £63m on one of the most coveted players without batting an eyelid. Shrugs all round from the EFL & PL.
  8. How far away from us were forest when they binned Hughton? They are now 3 places and 7 points better off, with 2 games still in hand on us.
  9. I've had to change it back to colour, thought I was in the 50's...... .....on my smartphone... ...on the internet....
  10. If he goes to India in the first place, he'll be coming back with a new contract. No one would travel all that way just to be told they aren't getting a new deal.
  11. Season ticket sales in the ditch (even more than they are) if Mowbray stays.
  12. Do their owners also have a footballing agency as their BFF?
  13. Mowbray has even drained the colour from the website:
  14. Yep, I liked Facebook alot when it first came out but over the years it faded. I rarely go on these days,. largely because I'm sick of Facebook sorting things how it wants to and not how i want it to. The most recent android apps seem to have lost the ability to sort your timeline by most recent altogether, as a result I end up reading posts from 5 days ago about an event that's been and gone. I've given up with it. Never had Instagram but agree it's created a whole a new world of people. My 10 year old neice sits with her phone pointing at herself, pulling all sorts of strange pouting faces for her "Insta". She's 10. 10!! Tiktok is another I've not bothered with but again my neice has favourite tiktok'ers and is surprised when I don't know who the hell they are.
  15. 1-1 The journey continues but is nearly over!
  16. But you've already previously posted that Coyle was interviewed by Pasha and "unnamed Indian gentleman" and off the back of that, he was recommended to the owners. So Pasha's last known involvement was to overrule the appointment of Warnock for Coyle and you think he's fit to conduct a managerial search?
  17. And that's the type of thinking that Rovers should be seriously considering. For the last 11/12 years they have cheaped out on the managerial position and its cost them everytime. I can't believe they still haven't realised that it's a crucial appointment and getting the cheapest you can find rarely works out. I can't imagine Venkys will change now and I'm 99.5% certain our next manager will be represented by HSH.
  18. Why are there so many stupid football owners? I mean, we have some of the worst but binning SD at such a crucial junction in the season and not have someone already lined up to step in is madness.
