I like the slow motion replay, when you can see the Dingles realisation that it's going in, mouths open, teeth missing, 12 fingers on their heads in disbelief. Rovers fans next to them going crazy.

Venky’s (& Suhail) Out Protest Ideas

Always loved Nuno! -
Oh, nice! Thanks

They'll get extensions because they are cheap, short term deals and we need a squad. The ones that won't get new deals will be Trav, Tronstad, Brittain and Hyam as they'll all want good wages.
-
Emotion plays a huge part in goals, generally speaking though. Weimann's must have been the first goal we've scored past them in 10 years. The others are good goals but none of them compare to Weimann's. Not only was it a superb hit, look at what it meant to us Rovers fans. A vote for any other goal is utterly insane.

Not sure why they are expecting us to be on board with this project. We've been here before, they then sold Adam Wharton and Szmodics but instead of reinvesting some of the money into players, who can then be sold on in the future, the money was just put into the running costs of the club to stop the owners from spending. Not a sustainable model and certainly not the fabled Brentford model they've previously referred to.

The significant investment and Kargbo are back for this one -
If it was a good number, I expect the club would have shouted from the rooftops about it by now.

Who is this guy?

Really appreciate you posting this, i've still not watched it and now I probably won't bother. The aim is purely to use the academy to develop players, only to sell them in the future, which in turn stops the owners having to put any money into the club. Results are secondary. Absolutely zero ambition and it's all just to stop Venky's having to fund us. Season ticket sales are going to tank spectacularly.

Yikes Thanks

Sorry, what?

If you'd like to torture yourself further, there is a championship predictor here: https://www.worldfootball.net/table_calculator/eng-championship/ Where you can play about with the last 2 results and see where Rovers end up. I had us down for 7th because Millwall somehow beat the Dingles 0-8 in their last game.

Just stop the video after 43 seconds. Some good goals in there tbf but if Weimann vs Dingles doesn't win by a landslide, it's absolutely criminal.

As @KentExile has said, Hyam's contract extension was an option that the club took up, it's not a new contract and only kicks the can down the road another 12 months. I doubt Riberio's contract was all that difficult to negotiate. I'd expect Hedges to be signed up soon and the actual important contracts of Brittain, Tronstad, Travis and Hyam to not be renewed and a couple of them sold this summer.
-
I see the club have gone all quiet on this front now. After everything kicked off and they came out and gave all those interviews, Gestede mentioned that there would be news on contracts over the next couple of weeks. Signed Yuri up to a new contract but nothing else.
-
Absolutely fucking love it if they went down. I've never really been bothered by them tbh but they're absolutely insufferable on twitter, giving it the big un not so long back, that they would finish above us. Proper drainers, it would be hilarious to see them relegated.

He really rates Montgomery doesn't he? Subbing off Brittain and sticking him at right back is strange though. -

Going off his interview the other day, it sounds like it's more about being at a club pushing at the top end. If we were showing signs of making a real go for it for once, he'd probably stay. Basically, he can see we are totally devoid of ambition and believes he can play at a higher level.
