I reckon Giles will start. Wolves rate him loads and there will have been a few clubs after him. We must have given a guarantee of game time.

Overall, not a terrible window but our business, or lack of, has been heightened by our closest promotion rivals business. Biggest shame is Markanday getting injured for the rest of the season, would have been a great option off the bench. Ultimately, I still think we are treading too fine of a line with basically being 1 injury away in any key area to struggling. Squad depth vs the squad depth of Bournemouth will probably see us miss out on automatic promotion which leaves us, bar a catastrophic collapse, in the lottery of the play offs. Bigger picture and problem is that failure to get promoted and we will probably need a new manager and a lot key players will be gone for free, giving us minimal funds to replace.

Can we even sign these players? Or are they youth players or something?

You'd hope so but realistically, no, we won't be getting anyone. Diaz, Khadra, Dolan, Gallagher, Hedges(?) for those 2 places but yeah questions over fitness and/or ability on all of those with the exception of Diaz. Not a great place to be.

Certainly is. Still haven't got this loan over line we were looking at hours ago. If we do manage to get that one done, I reckon that will be all we do.

I can only see this as a negative from our point of view. So yeah, bit underhand from Bournemouth but potentially played a blinder in unsettling one our first team players. The rest of the day will be interesting, as I imagine were now trying to offer him round and get rid but that would undoubtedly result in a worse deal all round for us.

Mikel is 34, he's not what we need. He'd be at the top end of the pay structure too. A deal till the end of the season perhaps but it's only a short term solution.
