Just read an interview with Mowbray on the Rovers website, where he says with Bell and Williams soon to be back fit, it will probably see Hart go out on loan again. We can scratch off any ideas of signing a new LB i would think, Seems like TM is happy with those 2 options, possibly keeping Hart if the other 2 struggle for fitness

You can't play Dack in the position above, that needs to be holding mid. He would be in Grahams position as the false 9. If you're looking at Liverpool, they have Keita--Henderson--Fabinho across the middle. Liverpool also have astonishingly good full backs who contribute an awful lot to the attack. Keita and Fabinho presumably adopt a more defensive mindset to cover in when the full backs bomb forward. Even taking things relatively (as in, i know we aren't playing at the same level as Liverpool) our full backs are no where near good enough to adopt that role. To be honest i don't think we have the players in pretty much any position to adopt this style. It would also require a really high level of fitness if we are to be constantly pressing when out of possession, something that has been criticised a lot in the past.

I don't think we've released squad numbers yet. For preseason games, I think they are just given any number.

We beat Macclesfield 3-1. Nuttall and a brace from Adam. Chapman got 45mins as did Gallagher. Davenport only made it till 33 mins though, hopefully it's not an injury concern

Happy with this signing but we need to shift some out now. Obvious candidates are Nuttall and Samuel. Mowbray has spoken in the past about our reliance on Graham and we might see him used less and Gallagher more this season, to go along with this alleged new set up. Or we could sit him on the bench next to another very expensive sub.
