  1. No chance unfortunately. He's here next season even if we don't win another game this season, which is looking very likely at this point.
  2. This is the worst performance we've put in for some time. We look like a league 2 team who's playing away to a Premier team in the cup.
  3. Just to be clear, Jonny Howson, a 36 year old Centre midfielder, is playing centre back we can't get anywhere near them. Embarrassing
  4. The club is absolutely bricking it now 0-2
  5. Less than 90 seconds 😂 Absolute clown of a manager 🤡
  6. Thought that was him but was just double checking 😂
  7. Kristi Montgomery striaght into today's squad?
  8. Dunny's lad? Was it O'Grady-Mackem who made his debut this season?
  9. No mention of any injuries to central midfielders on the Boro preview. As you say, could be as ridiculous as Trav/Tronstad being told to find a new club.
  10. Kristi Montgomery has been recalled and given squad No. 51. https://www.rovers.co.uk/news/2025/april/04/kristi-returns-to-rovers/
  11. Back to being pretty thin on the ground in certain positions: --------------Pears JRC-----Batth----Hyam---Riberio -------Tronstad---Travis Dolan-------Cantwell-----Hedges --------------Gueye
  12. Beck and Carter out for the rest of the season, according to Andy Bayes
  13. Riberio has been signed up to a new contract till 2027
  14. A home truth that just cuts straight to the bone.
  15. Read this earlier. Couldn't agree more, an absolutely shocking statement to make.
  16. Gestede however, hasn't mentioned the goalkeeping position as being a target for any summer business.
  17. It'll be Weimann and Batth, at a guess. It won't be any of Trav, Brittain, Tronstad or Hyam, who's renewals are far more important, although looking highly unlikely to happen. Edit: KentExile beat me to it.
  18. Presumably, Pears wages would be fairly low in comparison to a competent No.1 Keeper in this league, so yeah, they'll be delighted with another 2 years of him. Wouldn't be surprised if they extend his deal in the summer.
  19. Absolutely nailed it. Also, the fucking goalkeeper has Ryvita for hands but it's not deemed a priority position?
  20. Following that interview with the 3 amigos yesterday, it's clear we're stuck with Ismael for the rest of this season, regardless of whether he wins any games or not. No idea how long they'll stick with next season if it's still tanking spectacularly. The focus is shifting towards another "developing youth project", results are secondary.
  21. Really great interview from Suhail, Waggott and Gestede. Guys, seriously, I applaud the effort 👏, you surpassed all my expectations. I wasn't expecting to be fuming until a good 10mins in, but there I was, livid after just 45 seconds. Well played 🫡 What the hell was Waggott thinking having a pop at the fans in the opening fucking line of the interview?? Obviously, plenty of bullshit throughout. My notes: Did Suhail finally admit that the club lied about the court case? He mentioned a point where the owners could not send any money at all. This was not what Waggott told us when the court case came to light. The fabled £20m has been nudged up to £22m Gestede passing off pure incompetence as an exciting time as 12 players set to leave, with more to follow the next summer and no new contracts for key players. Following that point, a further excuse trotted out that we don't know what league we'll be in, when clearly we do know. Ismael having a strong input into the "shaping" of the squad, more likely to see off the remaining higher earners, under the guise of getting in "the right" players. Suhail clearly not happy about season tickets and possibly a sly move on their part to target the next generations, a sensible plan at most clubs but here it's probably to get a new generation in, that have only known Venkys Rovers and nothing more. The excuses given for Eustace's departure were truly pathetic. This charm offensive seems to have done more harm than good, looking at the YouTube comments. It's all guff and noise as we know it won't be backed up by any meaningful action.
  22. You're right, almost like the custodians of the game should actually start doing something about it
  23. You did say that they club would come out swinging with a full on charm offensive. Absolutely bizarre situation we find ourselves in as Rovers fans, at war with the club's hierarchy. Imagine just being able to support a football team, without all this shit.
  24. 5 points off WBA, Boro and Bristol though. One of which can increase that gap to 8 on Friday night. A couple of wins and 3 teams to slip up, in order to close the gap and then a few more to sustain the charge. We basically need to win like 6 of the last 7, if not 7 of the 7. It's not happening in a million years.
