  1. It's a classic Tony. One of the oddest managers I've ever come across
  2. Predicted a 2-0 defeat, only wish I'd put some money on.
  3. The January window was crucial. Why the owners didn't decide to turn on the spending taps then only they know
  4. Doesn't mean much if we keep losing
  5. Rovers have reverted to what we have been for the past few seasons ....... an average mid-table team. We were always punching above our weight in 2nd place but the play-offs will be a distant dream too if Tony doesn't sort this out
  6. It's going to take Tony's managerial and tactical genius to turn this one around.
  7. The Wigan fiasco and rubbish January window were turning points Plus, managers have looked at our unbeaten run and worked out how to play us Tony's lack of a workable plan B or C is being found out
  8. A draw would be a good result now; still sticking to my 2-0 Forest win bet And QPR winning too Final finishing position: 10th?
  9. Forget Dack; he's hardly played in 2-3 years. The lad will never be the same player
  10. Goal down the right flank where Nyame wasn't? Sounds about right
  11. If Nyambe is fit then he should start; and if he's not fit he shouldn't be on the bench Bottom line is Nyambe should be one of the first picks and is the best right back in the club Well done Tony
  12. Me too. We know our Rovers. It's in the water of us old' uns, isn't it?
  13. Harwood-Bellis is in a different class to Branthwaite who reminds me a bit of ex-Rover Jay McEveley. Branthwaite will have a good career in the lower divisions eventually but I'd be surprised and disappointed if Harwood-Bellis doesn't make it to the top
  14. Yes, I know Tyrone. But the armchair experts say it's an "awful league" while at the same time wanting promotion and criticising the owners for their stewardship of the club and their lack of ambition. Given that we'd likely be in relegation battle from the first match it's odd that these knowledgeable pundits would want us to be a part of this "awful league"
  15. If the Premier League is so "awful" why are we desperately keen to get back in it?
  16. Swansea stuffed 3-0 by Stoke tonight and puts our pathetic performance on Saturday into perspective
  17. Newcastle 3-1 up and Everton now embroiled in the relegation battle. Frankly, Lampard has a big job on his hands What's the "Premiership" BTW? It's been the Premier League since 2007
  18. Like Paul Lake? Another "Duncan Edwards"
  19. That's that then ....... the bookies friend has formally declared a Forest win Always fill your boots on the opposite @Mercer says
  20. Forest looked very impressive on MoD and Cooper has clearly got a good team spirit going. A difficult game and a draw would be a good result on our current form
  21. The young Phil Jones was likened to Duncan Edwards so I wouldn't get too carried away
  22. How the ***** is that goal? This is very funny https://twitter.com/i/status/1489751017684185089
  23. I think it's a good appointment by West Brom. Don't be surprised to see them get their first win under him against us.
  24. PFA today denied it is refusing to help Tony
  25. Just flagging this one up because it's an important game and one I'm looking forward to for personal reasons Sky just announced Steve Bruce is in advanced negotiations to take over as manager after the sacking of Ismael New manager bounce for the Baggies and return to Hawthorns for Mowbray Much to talk about
