Season tickets 2022/23
Paul Mellelieu replied to JHRover's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
I'm lucky that I can afford a season ticket, although I don't attend every game and get very little enjoyment these days. I like to think that I help to pay the wages of the office staff, the cleaners and so on. -
Season tickets 2022/23

Worth noting, from an ex-Forum, that the season ticket announcement shows the club has given up on any hope of promotion. -
What did they say?

I think we need a change and like many have done for some time. The pre-Xmas run changed that view until, well..... It's worth reminding ourselves of the wage bill and squad value compared to the rest of the league.

I think the players, led by Dack, were trying to sort it our amongst themselves. -

I thought Pickering looked excellent before December, but so did the rest of the team...... -

Awful from us. Another Saturday, when frankly I could have done something far more enjoyable. -
In other news we lost £20m again.

Mowbray, the summer and beyond

Rigger, I misunderstood you. My fault. Thought you said they were getting physical because of TM. Not the case, or maybe not the case, but could be. Either way, good to hear. -

Sorry Rigger, do you think they were arguing about TM? -

Sorry rigger, I thought you said that you didn't know what they were arguing about. I wasn't there and, as you suggest, I'm none the wiser either. Always been dicks following Rovers. -

I remember Pearson, Warnock, the managers of Stoke, Preston, Forrest and Barnsley all touted, so that's six at least all considered to be a better bet than TM. All are either below us in the league or have been fired. I have no idea who might replace TM - I just don't know enough about these things. -

Paul Mellelieu replied to TheRovers1994's topic in Blackburn Rovers Fans Messageboard
The turning point was BBD's injury and Rothwell's head being turned. We've looked poor since. I agree that TM could have done more and I fancy a change this summer, but many of the names lauded here over the past two years have done little better, or indeed worse that TM. So tread carefully. -
