Thankfully it will also signal the end of you calling TM a "moron." It's not a great look you know. -
What was the John Curtis thing?
-
Have you looked at where we are in the wages division this season?
-
Yes BBC, not LT as you suggested.
-
Well dalliance with the play-offs is better than relegation and mid table finishes. As for the money......most of that has been to cover loses.
-
I think it was Andy Bayes from the BBC asking the questions.

The decent thing to do was to tell Mowbray that if we didn't get promoted then his contract wouldn't (or would) be renewed. He could keep that to himself. In effect by not talking to him, that's what has happened. For some reason I've always liked TM, but I can see he shortcomings too. That said there are a lot of managers haven't been successful at this level - many who have been lauded on this site. With the resources open to him TM has got us into contention this season, something that were unable to do under other managers. So, I feel regret that he didn't do better. Sadly none of us can have any confidence in a good appointment can we?

Not quite true. The fella has work for the club for five years and a level of respect for his work should come into play.
-
If this is the case, then I think it's a little shoddy by the Rovers' management team that an announcement about his future should sneak out in this way.
-
I think that was my point.
-
At the start of the season we would have been very happy to be in with a shout of top six........only joking.

Some of the interplay was sublime and I agree the Travis goal was a wonderful moment. -

If I went to a restaurant for 50 years and for most part I didn't think the food was great, then you'd have a point. -
Keep up the boycott.

it's.... Glad you and many others can agree with me. I must be wrong......

Season tickets 2022/23

It's pretty offensive really. I will buy a season ticket for reasons not connected to TM, for the good of the club, as a token of support than frankly wains from one week to the next, as a connection to a town I left 40 years ago. You might argue that objectively is helps TM, whatever my intentions, but I cannot imagine a situation where the level of season-ticket sales will have a material impact on his future tenure. -

A quick PS - I think many of us are still waiting for good news we'd been promised by posters here who have told us they know things are about to change. I say this is good faith. What's gone wrong? -
Our friend Alan Nixon has said that this has been chance of getting promoted for a decade, and maybe for another - or words to that effect. Unless V's pull something out of the hat this summer, there's very little cause for optimism.

I think we all know that the announcement of a new, good-quality manager with a good story to tell the town, will be required to get more bums on seats. And unless we get proper governance, with local voices around the table, then decline is the only realistic course for the club.
