I preferred Sam to Ince for obvious reasons, and Sam to all that has followed, for obvious reasons. I preferred Hughes to Sam, also for obvious reasons. Is that so hard to understand?

Den, you can angry about the last 13 years and say that you hated Sam's style. There were alternatives to his dreadful style as both Hughes and Souness demonstrated. Not an either / or.

Two things can be boring.
