We've carried last season's poor form into this one and I do worry that the management team's lack of EFL nous may cost us dearly in the weeks and months ahead. On the other hand we will have some new and returning players to call on. I doubt anyone can call this season, but I will be very surprised if we aren't around the bottom battling for points.

My worry is that JDT and GB don't have the nous about this league to make the most of the limited resources we have. Time will tell of course.

Not great to be out-smarted by Paul Ince, but we know that the squad is mid-table at best currently and much needs to be done. There are additional worries as I see it, the floundering form of our left back and the underwhelming contribution of the new boys. I also do wonder how much JDT thought he could get out of a starting line-up with Dolan and Vale. Much to ponder and a good performance needed at the weekend.
