  1. I don't think we are out of contention, yet, but we need Dack, BB and the rest of our top players in and playing well very soon.
  2. The only positives from this game was the stunning goal and the hints of what having BB an Dack back in the ten will give us. They completely changed our attacking options.
  3. Poor today. At least BB and Dack looked dangerous....... and we got a point. Fair result.
  4. We had several chances to take points from the game.
  5. Well Hughes did a decent job and there are managers around that can get smaller clubs to play decent football in the top flight. But I would never want Sam to manage us again in the way he did.
  6. I don't disagree, and it wasn't a great performance by us. We need a bit more steel and our best forwards back to have a chance in this league. I'm not convinced at all that Mowbray can do it, but my view is that we should give him this season and take it from there.
  7. Sam saved us, no doubt and shouldn't have been sacked, and when the mood took him his sides played some great stuff. BUT, I spent three quarters of the season being bored to death. I don't expect you to agree, but that's how I see it.
  8. Well we have our views, but I'd rather walk the dog than watch teams led by Warnock and O'Neil. And I don't have a dog.
  9. They won't. I had enough of that kind of football under Sam.
  10. If you want our team to play like Stoke, fine. I don't.
  11. Well, a disappointing day, and we must improve soon, which means Dack, Brereton an one of the defenders returning. What an absolute shower Stoke were. Desperate.
  12. Thought Nyambe is starting to look like a top-flight player.
  13. The midfield killed us today and sadly, with Buckley, we were playing with ten for large part. Subs did the job. Felt sorry for TM actually, he looked under a lot of pressure.
  14. I'm not sure who would disagree with that, including Mowbray.
  15. There is no "exactly" the same and in football. There are so many variables at play, from one season to the next. This whole thread has been that Mowbray is some kind of idiot - or worse, when player recruitment, style of play and the potential to improve are there for all to see. I don't think we will make it, but as I said over the summer, TM deserves another season. I think the LT has it right here: https://www.lancashiretelegraph.co.uk/sport/18940720.rovers-must-recognise-potential-norwich-defeat/
  16. And at the end of the season we can judge. I'm not overly optimistic, but the squad we have now is far better. Don't you think?
