My wife asked me if it was friendly game as we surveyed the crowd today, but with August holidays out of the way and most opposition teams bringing a couple of thousand fans, maybe attendances will creep upwards. That first save from Raya though.... A team as committed as I've seen in blue and white halves. When you can't play well, play hard. -
Come on Rovers.
-
Highlights now on-line.
-
Well done Rovers. The win will reduce the nerves going into the next home game.

Google is out friend. OK, it was 34,000.

Thought you were off for the night. Disappointed.

Transfer Window - Success or Failure

PS. I don't understand why you would signal to the market, with large bids that were for PR purposes only, that you have money to send. More difficult to bargain-hunt I would have thought. -
Transfer Window - Success or Failure

The lack of press/media activity is rather puzzling as the Rovers have made a real effort to improve their output to fans. I don't like to speculate, but a lack of presence from TM and others from the club is unusual and therefore could be a worry. -
There is nothing less interesting than conspiracy theorists.
-
I'm not saying that we should have done our business early, or making claims that I know what the problems have been. But one thing is clear, TM will be unhappy, so it can only so that we should too. I'm not sure how any other view is defendable.
-
As I said earlier, we have had money, bid and failed to land targets. TM most feel disappointed and so I guess should we.
-
Do we get an extra two hours to get to 500 pages as the Brereton transfer is still in the balance?
-
So, we've had resources and targets, and bids, but no signings, bar Armstrong. Either players don't see us as an attractive proposition, or someone has done a poor job.
-
It's looking like a typical Rovers' transfer day. As for people taking the day off work to monitor developments - get out of here!
-
It's obviously difficult for Rovers to do their business quickly. None of us for sure why that is, but of course it may be the amount of resources we have, and how quickly they can be accessed. Maybe we aren't as attractive, money aside to other sides.
