  1. A dire game for long stretches, but thankfully Big Club were as bad as we've faced this season and two pieces of exceptional skill gave us the win.
  2. ...and another assist from Elliot. I'm thinking that the pitch looks very poor.
  3. A very, very poor Big Club performance has made it easy for us, but I just can't see us not conceding. Great finish and good half from AA.
  4. It's in the thread, but all injured.
  5. The long-haired fella from Newcastle and the Scottish lad in the PL was a low point.
  6. No parachute payments back then, and much else.
  7. No excuses tonight. Not good enough.
  8. Second best against a nice-looking team. Again, we need to do more in midfield.
  9. I don't think we are out of contention, yet, but we need Dack, BB and the rest of our top players in and playing well very soon.
  10. The only positives from this game was the stunning goal and the hints of what having BB an Dack back in the ten will give us. They completely changed our attacking options.
  11. Poor today. At least BB and Dack looked dangerous....... and we got a point. Fair result.
  12. We had several chances to take points from the game.
  13. Well Hughes did a decent job and there are managers around that can get smaller clubs to play decent football in the top flight. But I would never want Sam to manage us again in the way he did.
  14. I don't disagree, and it wasn't a great performance by us. We need a bit more steel and our best forwards back to have a chance in this league. I'm not convinced at all that Mowbray can do it, but my view is that we should give him this season and take it from there.
  15. Sam saved us, no doubt and shouldn't have been sacked, and when the mood took him his sides played some great stuff. BUT, I spent three quarters of the season being bored to death. I don't expect you to agree, but that's how I see it.
  16. Well we have our views, but I'd rather walk the dog than watch teams led by Warnock and O'Neil. And I don't have a dog.
  17. They won't. I had enough of that kind of football under Sam.
  18. If you want our team to play like Stoke, fine. I don't.
  19. Well, a disappointing day, and we must improve soon, which means Dack, Brereton an one of the defenders returning. What an absolute shower Stoke were. Desperate.
