We look outnumbered in the midfield.

This is quite clearly untrue. Cunningham plus Toisin with Johnson in from of the back four is better than last season. -

The calculations above exclude loan fees we can be paying for Tosin, Wlaton and Cunningham. -

All interesting conjecture, but does anyone have any evidence? -
Graham highlights TM's biggest problem - who to play upfront with Dack.

A few other teams suffering too.

Making a judgement after three seasons, not two games. TM deserves a chance to get the season going - and a little loyalty. -
Depends which French wine you drink.

The poor run, immediately after TM won manager of the month, coincided with Lenihan's injury. Taken as a whole the season was a success. Can TM take us to challenge for promotion? I don't know, but I think he deserves a chance, and less of the name-calling that is a permanent feature here. He isn't a Keane or Coyle, or Kidd for that matter.

Once again, we are TWO games in.
-
I'm not sure - but ten games is usually a good guide. Over last season, as a whole - not just the poor run, we did okay, and we are two games in. The MB is akin to a Simpsons' crowd scene.
-
The only element of truth in that is he could have saved us relegation, but that's marginal. Promoted at first call, mid-table last season. He may fail this season, but give him and the players a few games.
-
Which stats?
-
Dear lord.
-
I've judged him over the last three seasons and he's done well for us. Is he a world-beater, probably not, but neither are Blackburn Rovers anymore.
-
From the bigger picture is that TM took over the club at its lowest ebb, turned up around, got us promoted at first go and achieved a mid-table finish last season. Job done. He deserves this opportunity to put a decent team out.

Only Todd Rundgren can take away the pain.

BTW, can any window be more "humiliating" than signing and not signing Roy Keane? Ot missing out on Zidane? Or the Polish centre forward? -

Mulgrew's exit, although cheered on by some here could have a real impact on squad morale, as Glenn suggests above. Mulgrew has been a key fixture in the squad for three years and his leaving under these circumstances is worrying. -
