How can it be non-profit at £469 for a 1 nighter in a 4 star hotel? The company advertising at the top of the board are running flights for £229 and I can guarantee you they are making a profit. It simply doesn't add up in any way at all.

There are no restrictions on the numbers of tickets a club have to give in Europe, no 10% or anything else. We got the same at Celtic as Liverpool did and Man U will. Salzburg have sold out every week recently from what i've read so if 700 is what we've got then i'd expect thats all we could have got. I'll be the first to criticise the club when it's justifies i.e. ridiculous travel packages but not when it's not down to them.

Where have these rumours come from anyway? Could it be that after putting such a poor value travel package out, the club have allowed these rumours to start to try to encourage a few people to travel. It is now 2 weeks to the game so they should be in a position to release ticket details.

There is a good reason why Todd isn;t going. no-one wants him because he simply isn't good enough. Not 1st choice in the Premiership at any rate. His agent may have friends in the media to big him up but clearly it hasn't worked. Keep him as backup to the better players, he's a good squad player and nothing more.

That would be a big change from previous years and also pretty much a non-starter considering the prices they are charging. I would expect they are the only people guaranteed tickets as they are being sold with the packages themselves. There is no way 730 will be travelling with the club so it's not an issue.

Is there a reason why the travel thread has been closed without comment? I would have thought this was a general thread and that was for that particular trip for people to ask questions. It would appear especially useful now that the clubs deals are so poor.

£479 for a 1 nighter with the club presumably with Free Champagne, lapdancers and an exec box thrown in. £140 for a coach trip for those on a budget. Apart from guaranteeing a match ticket I cannot see the sense in the price of the top option.

A lack of pace doesn't excuse being beaten in the air pathetically for their second goal. He isn't good enough in the air or against pace and simply cannot be considered first choice if we are to progress, especially with the suspect tempremant he will always have.

It doesn't come as a great surprise to me to be honest. Too many of the staff at the club have had, or still have, a small club mentality and i'm sure were much happier in the old days when they could plod along. Ken Beamish was ill for a large part of last season so it may have something to do with it.
