Shows that Hughes is a very good man manager and fair play to Todd for apologising. Clearly situations like this are not good for the team when they are played out in public which was the point I have made throughout, some people refuse to accept he can do any wrong and instead turn it into a pro/anti Todd argument which is nonsense. It is perfectly possible to want Todd as part of team and yet still criticise him for his actions at Birmingham.

The comment was in reply to a comment that he has managed to remove the temper tantrums from his game, something which is clearly untrue given recent events as well as his 3 match ban earlier in the season for head-butting. He's been very good over the last 2 years but not good enough to get away with being a liability at times. Nelsen will almost certainly be player of the year this season and has set the bar as to what we need from a defender if we are to progress.

Jan I think we all know who on this board is pathetic. Billy please don't put those kind of images in our heads again, however funny it may be. Put simply I don't buy this "it's nice to see players showing passion" attitude. If a player has a problem he should deal with it behind closed doors with the boss. If the boss is unapproachable then fair do's but I don't believe that of Hughes. That's just my opnion by the way so if that makes me pathetic so be it.

Actually one of the main reasons why Charlton got battered according to all the reports i've seen was because Davies & Borgetti battered their defence all over the show. With this in mind it may well be a game for Kuqi after all.

I didn't say the crowds were rising I said the buzz was back, something a number of people have commented on. I'm not in the slightest embarrased by our crowds and if we carry on as we are they will continue to rise. Yesterday's crowd was the biggest of the season by some distance despite being on the telly and a cat a+, obviously the scousers brought lots but no more than Man U and we had 4000 more on. There are positive signs there if you choose to look for them.
