As an aside, I’m absolutely convinced that people are still mad at Dack for being photographed at that barbecue that one time. As if his presence there is a reason to permanently have something against him, rather than him being our main source of goals since he arrived until he got injured just over a year ago. -

‘If we get a good fee for him, I’d sell’. I’m glad anyone who makes posts like this isn’t running the show. Why would we want to sell our best players, who score most of our goals, unless we absolutely have to? -

But Dack scored and sealed the win. Aren’t goals still the object of the game? -

NEXT FIVE GAMES PREDICTIONS

I don’t know how to upload pictures on here from my phone, but when I’d had a few cans the other week, I found a wish.com model of the Ghanaian coffin dancers and I bought it. I’ll be honest, I don’t hate it and it’s on a shelf at home.... -
‘People didn’t do their jobs’. Yeah, you!

Interesting seeing people talking about getting a new manager in to continue this new brand of football. I wouldn’t be having that, just get the best man for the job in with the strongest track record and let him do his thing. It seems unlikely to me that any manager would want to just do what someone else was doing already.....

I’d just love to know what the justification was for the Buckley sub, in particular. Saw a tweet from Rich Sharpe which indicated even he was confused about that. Why do we ship so many goals, why do we make so many mistakes at the back and why have we been defensively suspect in all of your time here? He’s had good backing this summer and he’s underachieving in a big way. Bet Mowbray isn’t asked about any of these things by the good folks at the LT though.
-
More great defending. What the fuck do they do in training?
-
As much as I’d love them to take Hudds to the cleaners, my prediction for the rest of the game.... We will have loads of the ball, not really threaten that much, miss a sitter at the end, then Hudds manager will talk about how we were the best team they’ve played all season, as he takes the three points home.
-
Nice to see Dack on, but why on earth is Buckley coming on at right back?
-
Great defending is that. Just get Dack and Dolan on and stop hanging about.
-
Dirty bastards, this lot (Huddersfield). I’d like to see a replay of the Lenihan incident. Either way, it wouldn’t shock me if we ended up having one sent off before they did, despite being far cleaner for the most part...

Merry Christmas to all that post on here and keep the gaff going. We all disagree at times, but this mint football club brings us all together, so that’s got to count for something! Also, a massive shout out to all the back room staff (not just me), that help keep it going by giving up their own time to do so. Particularly with the latest upgrades and such! They’ve really gone beyond the call of duty and that needs recognition! Let’s have a good one with our families and smash Wednesday on Boxing Day! COYB!

I don’t understand what relevance what happened before him has, when he has been well backed himself since he’s been here. I’ve literally never said the last paragraph, so you’ll have to attribute that to the author! But he hasn’t had to beg, steal and borrow either. He’s been well backed.

It’s come to something when a manager that has spent £14 Million on a forward line, loaned what has turned out to be one of the best young players about and not had to sell anyone, has had a hard time of it... It’s a funny old game.....
-
It’s alright for one practice match, but it seems to me that the very idea of moving Bradley Dack further back, where he is likely to score less goals, seems to be completely counter productive.
-
Why does any time before he was here matter when we are discussing Mowbray?
-
Are you just arguing for the sake of it now lad? He hasn’t had to sell anyone and been able to spend a fair amount. I’d hardly call that a hardship. He’s been able to build the best squad we’ve had for ages and if we don’t at least get top six, then this year has been a failure.

I wasn’t talking about that post in isolation....

Can you stop trolling people now please?

If you know something, but can’t say anything on here, can you just not mention it at all?

Probably because we saw his last few performances for us and he was terrible.... -

Hiya- just had to hide a few posts, I could have issued bans if I was that way out, but I’ve gone with the ‘nice’ approach. Any more being dicks and I’ll not be so nice. (No more Mr Nice Guy etc, but seriously, stop it please. I know we are annoyed we lost, but rein it in please. Ta.) -

Things I don’t want for Christmas: Hearing about how unattractive Stoke are on the eye, or how much possession we had, or any other similar hard luck stories. Things I do want for Christmas: Us to be accountable for allowing strikers free headers in the six yard box (ideally to stop it happening) and for us to be able to use our quality to make our possession count. The warnings were there with our last few performances, but getting away with it, which was incredibly satisfying, granted. We need to start improving badly. I’d be keen to see Dolan starting again. Must be ridiculously frustrating for him to know he can do more than Gallagher and observing this from the bench. Not good at all.
